Do you still run Regeneration?

I use it, but I don't like using it because of how crappy its targeting is, especially when it decides to zap the same 2 people every use. I seriously hope that mechanic gets fixed because it's a good HoT. So despite this issue do you still run it or did it make you give it up?

No, this bug made me stop using it.

The bug is definitely a pain in the ass, but I stopped using it because I didn't really need it. Slotted another ability to help with dps instead.

And that's cool, but I know this bug is definitely making me want to replace it. Problem is, I don't have any enticing options...

Nobody cares about Regeneration!

Never really used it in PvE healing tbh, there are far more better skills to use instead. I did try it a few times on a harder content recently but it was not good at all.

It is nice though with a Maelstrom Resto if you have magicka problems.

Yes, I run it despite this bug.

I only use it because I have Maelstrom Resto. The targeting problem is very obvious and I also noticed that if there's only one injured member it seems much harder to get a beam on them.

No, this bug made me stop using it.

Actually since this ability turned into garbage because of the targeting bug and with the one tamriel new sets coming, I'm considering getting rid of resto staff altogether and run dual wield just for the extra spell damage and set item on my healer.

That way I can run 5pc + 5pc + 2pc monster helm set. Breath of life and ritual is all you need tbh.

As a Templar, sure. Other classes don't have that luxury lol

The bug occurs so rarely it doesn't matter, and it's pretty obvious if it does. 3k tick on a crit, how are you not going to use it.

Happens often for me, but usually when I'm healing at dolmens and world bosses. And the power of the heal is why I run it. That and the low cost.

I run it on my templar, rapid regeneration that is, and I have never really had this be an issue. I'm on PS4 and maybe it isn't an issue here because I mainly run it in PvP, if there are two of us, I hit it once, four of us twice, and six of us three times, and I can honestly say that it always applies to whomever hasn't yet recieved it.

Or perhaps the bug might be related to the maelstrom resto as I don't have one?? Maybe people could check it out!??

I wouldn't call it obsolete. Regen is about 40% cheaper than Springs, lasts 20 Seconds, and is an HoT with Mutagen serving as an emergency heal if the one it's cast on almost dies. Springs has its uses, but it doesn't completely replace Regen. Regen just has issues is all...

At first, yes. However, trying to cast it to refresh the duration before it expires results in the targeting going screwy. Regen is one of those abilities you can basically spam but this bug makes that hard to do.

It's complete trash.

In Maelstrom it's fantastic.

Easiest way to keep SPC/Gossamer procced. It's a must on my bar for pvp/4 man content, regardless of bug.

I don't use it only because I'm not a healer but the Devs need to fix the morph on it for healers .

Yes i have it on my back bar along with my maelstrom resto. It still ticks with the magicka back when I swap to the masters resto on the front. The only reason I'm using it is for the magicka back so I don't really mind who it happens to hit since its in no way part of my healing rotation. It's just a nice thing to have on one of my bars.

I would love to run mutagen again on my magnb together with ward ally in pvp. Used to run in a magnb duo with ward ally and mutagen, rapid regen and funnel health. So much better than healing ward. HoTs was all I needed, burst heal from mutagen when getting focused. Now I run blessing of protection and healing ward. It's just so much inferior. One of the reasons I cancelled my sub btw.

I run it in four-man content to keep up SPC while I dps but I don't bother with it in trials.

I use it for pre-buffs (it works perfectly before the fight starts) and for prolonged battles. If you let the buff run out completely, I find that it reapplies well (like pre-combat).

I've noticed something similar on breath of life too. When there is only one injured member on our trial party, I sometimes need to cast bol more than once to hit him. Did zos change healing spells to target players nearest to the caster instead those with lowest health?

RR is but one tool in my healers arsenal and returns my ultimate quickly so I can use a healing ultimate more often.
Of course I mostly PvP on my Templar.

I still use it because of the regen due to maelstrom resto and it s the cheapest way to reliably proc spell power cure. But i agree that this smart targeting is really not that smart.
