Sorc Pets - no targeting option on console

Sorry if it's already covered, but any reason why on a console you cant target your pet attacks?

Would be easy to use the right thumb press highlighting option surely.

Slight Necro - but not had any solutions has this not been discussed for Console by the Dev's?

Odd that the PC has it? And it could literally just be using the right thumb stick click surely?

I could see using their special ability while targetting an enemy as a means of changing target, but with things like NB's Shade(s) this is controllable.

There should be a Target option, for a long time I have wanted this and it has not happened YET. hopefully will be put in an update soon. Pets need more targeting options anyway... I get so annoyed when i know my pet is out but I can't find it hahaha

You people still didn't figure it out? Pets are made to be useless. They are never gonna be balanced out to be on par with other skill lines. Sooner you give up on them, the better.

@Rex-Umbra yep they do. And It makes quite the difference when I chat to experienced PC Pet Sorcs.

I just can't see the logic why its on PC and not console.

Back when I ran Pets, I am not sure if we had Pet Targeting then, or i just did not know about it, but I would DPS the Mob I wanted the Pet to attack and that usually worked. However being able to tell the Pet what Mob to target is so much better.

I think the biggest issue on the consoles is how to be able to input the command with the limited number of buttons. I am sure it could be done in some fashion, but would it be a method that would not tie your fingers in a knot? It should be least Bindable so those who want could figure out the button combo that makes sense for them.

Pets are not useless, perhaps if you tried a build that so many talented players have made, you could actually see how fun pets are in PVP. I have run a build with pets all the time, yes i'm not the strongest player out there, I don't want to be but its much more fun than playing a build that has been repeated continuously through PVP.

and yes PC did have pet targeting once. I have no idea if they still have it as i'm a console player

Dang yeah we need that on Console. I remember AOC as a Necromancer you could have 8 pets and a bunch of different commands.
