Why Lyranth the Fool Killer is my second favorite character in ESO

I say second favorite because quite frankly- the top spot will, and always shall belong to the NPC duo Lady Laurent and Stibbons (third place is Heem-Jas)

Now on to the topic on hand, I just want to make a thread talking about how amusing and entertaining I find our Xivkyn Daedra companion (in the most loose way possible.) Lyranth is.



So at least in the Ebonheart Pact storyline, you meet this daedra somewhere between the early and mid way point of the storyline in Blackmarsh. Where she was imprisoned and used as an energy source for the Aldmeri Dominion against the Argonians.
After you set her free, it seems like she leaves and you don't bother seeing her again.
Except that isn't what happens. Apparently she spent her time writing up a hit list of 'daedra that can rot in the void' and just happens to have you oh, so conveniently fit in as her hitman to do these things.

As much as she is loyal to Molag Bal as the true master, her grudge against the daedra that wronged her was greater than that. She helps you defeat Deadra that wronged her, but were also really important to Molag Bals plans. Because as far as shes concerned she didn't technically 'do anything'

Hell her appearance in ICP is the most amusing to me. That whole quest is basically Lyranth wanting you to go in and suffer undead, flesh atronachs, and mean daedra all because she had a really big bone to pick with Lord Warden. All the while reminding you that while you are very useful and entertaining being her unofficial hitmen, that she will not hesitate to gut you and watch you bleed out with joy. (your very welcome Lyranth I'm glad you see me as a good friend.)

I don't know, that level of pettiness to me is just so entertaining and fun.I hope in future content we get to see more of her and I can't wait to see who's next on her *** list that she is going to rope you in to doing the dirty work against.

What main or side NPC in the game do you like? What attracted you to them? And do you hope to see more of them in future content? Or if you think that is unlikely what kind of RP aspects do you seem them engaging in after you've done your quest for them and moved on to more dungeon raiding shenanigans?

Feel free to post pictures of them as well. There are a lot of characters and it can be hard remembering what all of them look like.

Out of the Five Companions, Abnur Tharn was my favorite.

I know he

ran off with the Amulet of Kings and is studying it to try (and fail) to replicate its divine empowerment of the Vestige

but still, he was hilarious and I'd totally hang out with him again. I headcanon that my Imperial character works for him trying to bring about the return of the true empire by supporting the relatively more divided Pact faction.

As is Lyranth.
