Bug Related to Guild Trader Bid

I had noticed something odd about this feature previously, but today was able to confirm it is reproducible bug and workaround for this issue.

First, a somewhat less urgent issue: when you start dialogue with any guild trader and select "Bid on Trader," often the "Update Bid" option appears to be greyed out and cannot be selected. This seems to happen regardless of the guild order but as long as you keep clicking over and over, eventually "Update Bid (Press E)" option is not greyed out and you can finally place your bid. It is also a bit misleading this is referred to as "Update Bid," even if you are just placing a bid for the first time.

The more serious issue, that makes it completely impossible to place any bid occurs under the following conditions:

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Have 5 guilds, in four of which you have permissions to hire guild trader.
2. Someone else has already placed bid for this week for 1st guild.
3. 2nd guild and 3rd guild have too few members to hire trader
4. Fourth guild you do not have permission
5. Fifth guild you have permission and is the one you are attempting to place an initial bid for (you have not previously placed any bid for this week)
6. Click on any guild trader.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
A menu should appear which allows you to select any guild in the dropdown box for which you have permissions to place bids. You should be able to select a guild from the dropdown box, and if you have permission, it should take you to the "place bid"/"update bid" screen and allow you to enter a gold amount for your bid.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
What happens is that the resulting guild trader bid menu seems to be affected by the condition of the first guild. If your first guild is large enough to have guild trader, and you have permissions to place bid, then this menu always defaults to that first guild.

In that initial menu screen, the "Update Bid" option for your first guild is greyed out about 50% of the time, as described above with the less urgent issue, with no information about why it is greyed out. The other 50% of the time (provided the first guild has already placed a bid), it is greyed out but includes information below that states something along the lines of "A bid has already been placed for X NPC at X Town. I don't know if it is intended or not that only the guild officer who placed the initial bid can update it, but it seems not possible to update the bid placed by a different guild officer.

The serious issue is that when you select the fifth guild from that dropdown box (the one you are attempting to place initial bid for), the option to "Update Bid" is greyed out 100% of the time. No matter what I tried, from exiting the dialogue then clicking on the NPC over and over, reloadui, restarting client, uninstalling all add ons, etc., it was not possible to place any bid for the fifth guild. This was extremely frustrating as maintenance was about to occur and the guild members were relying on me to hire a trader for the next week.

WORKAROUND:
Leave the first guild.

BEHAVIOR AFTER WORKAROUND:
Interestingly when you leave the first guild, and then click on "Bid on Guild Trader" menu dialogue, initial guild trader bid menu screen defaults to the fifth guild (which is now fourth in guild order), instead of the other guilds that have too few members to hire trader. The "Update Bid" dialogue option is not greyed out, and can now be selected properly.
