Is it possible to gain HIGH DPS with all crafted gear?

The set bonuses are not enchantments, they are simply set bonuses by wearing a certain number of items in that particular set.

Enchantments can be added or changed on any item even after its creation by right clicking the item and selecting an enchantment glyph from your inventory, unlike traits which are set in stone at the moment of creation.

And as someone else pointed out, bound items are bound to your account, not character, and as such can be passed down to your own alts through your account bank.

You could go Clever alc and Julianos both full set if you have one bar where you dual wield. I do that on my Sorc and can 5700 spell power and 42k max mag. My frag crits are anywhere from 36k to 46k outside of trials, in trials with everyone's buffs I have hit 62k on a frag crit. Of course you want willpower jewelry in arcane. Btw my non crit frags top out at 26k.

Never use alchemist in trials/dungeons...worst set ever since ZOS upscaled everything. It may be viable for dungeons until next patch but yeah...things die anyway...

I get 68 seconds on the Bloodspawn, my current set up gives me the highest DPS out of all I have tried.

Sure, but this doesn't make alchemist any good for sustained DPS in PvE....

I use this setup on my magsorc and it has gotten me flawless and 530k+ scores and will probably top me out at 550k as I smooth certain fights out. Over long group fights 5+ minutes (where I don't need to constantly stop to rez) I pull about 25k single target and in aoe fights like the first large trash pull in vSO I can sustain around 50k.

Is it the best? No. Do I like being pretty effective and looking damn good doing it? Hell yeah!

Sure, but this doesn't make alchemist any good for sustained DPS in PvE....

Been using this build for a while now and it has been pulling more dps than any previous ones. The ability from it lasts a good while especially if you time it right with your swords and kena. Getting all 3 proc'd and tossing a 45k frag crit (or 62k in a trial) is a beautiful thing. Think about it how often is your sorc throwing out really huge numbers it isn't constant so when that burst is coming why not buff it a little? I usually have the highest sustained DPS of everyone I run with. I get what you are saying and why but in practice it works very well.

it doesn't work, just do the math. alchemist will give you less overall combat stats then sets like julianos and less DPS then TBS.

Alchemist will give you 129 Spelldamage all the time, which is about equal to the magicka julianos provides you.
The potionprocc will give you 661 Spelldamage in 15 out of 45 seconds which equals to 220 Spelldamage. This is 80 less than julianos 5pc bonus. So it's worse than julianos when you only compare the raw stats, but julianos will give you some extra 6.4% Crit on top. There is no way alchemist beats julianos in sustained fights.

edit: i just saw you are using both of these sets. But even than you have 2 useless HP-bonus on your armor which could be filled with any set which gives you magicka/spelldmg/crit to achieve the same DPS gain. You can for example just use 5pc TBS (armor) and 3 PC Julianos (Armor/weapon) to get more DPS and also profit more from warhorns and other group buffs.

No, it is not possible to get high dps using only crafted gear. If you tried, you wouldn't have any jewelry, which is a huge handicap.
