The issue isn't so much with the option to do this. It's more that if the option is turned on for a particular rank, everyone of that rank will be able to edit their own as well as anyone else's notes leading to potential abuse. If ZOS gave more guild permissions there wouldn't be an issue. In my guild, member and above ranks have Note permissions with new members lacking it. The issue is to have officers who are mature enough to refrain from immature sexual/phallic graffiti. Or other pointless "information" in the information note.

juhasman✭✭✭✭Yeah it was always wierd for me that there is no option to edit Your notes only what creates situations where there is only few persons that can edit them in the guild and if You want to have Your own note You need to wait until that person will do it for You , and if You want to have note with colored text or with some graphic You need to explain everything excatly by 1 hour ,or there are situations where too many guild members have that option and people changing other players notes just for fun or trolling which makes mess sometimes.0 -

Although it might be nice to give the guildmaster the option of having members edit their own notes, it should still be up to the guildmaster to determine whether that option is enabled. Our guild uses the member notes to record the date of recruitment and any time away from game, which are not things we'd want the members to be able to edit.0

✭✭There was a thread about something similar to this very recently and I'll make my reply the same here. Guild management has needed a lot of love for a very long time and it needs to come fast. Multiple guild bank tabs, more comprehensive permissions, guild ranks and such.
It needs an overhaul, and fast.2 -

✭✭✭So why exactly is this a problem? In my guild I have note editing assigned to my admin ranked members and myself and use them to either indicate they have a loan debt (my guild has a loan system
