"Unable to connect to server" whenever I'm in a load screen

Today whenever I'm in a loading screen, I get the error message "Unable to connect to server, please make sure you have a valid internet connection" and get booted to login. I assumed it was my internet being screwy, but I checked my connection and everything appeared to be running fine. Also, I saw on reddit that I'm not the only one who is getting this error a lot today. Is there something I can do to fix this?
