So I'm half-asleep watching Yo-kai Watch on Disney XD right now (I have no idea why), and I just thought about something. What if we could make the Sorcerer Daedric Summoning skill line better, by allowing us to in a sense "catch" or "copy" and summon Daedra that we encounter while adventuring?

Like say for example we run across a Flame Atronach. We could use Daedric Curse on it (which would allow us to copy a Daedra's summoning rune), and then be able to summon 1 for ourselves. Until we feel like copying another Daedra, and having it replace it. Think about it for a second. You'd have access to summoning air atronachs, frost atronachs, etc. And in a sense revamp and breathe life into a skill line that a lot of people have issues with, while providing a sense of build diversity based on what is caught. It'd be like the "monster hunter" skill line a lot of MMO's have. You already have the pet skill line that MMO's have, so let us capture our own "pets".

Just imagine... Doing VMA or other trials and dungeons with an air atronach or mini-titan by your side. If they can allow you to have a mini-flesh atronach to kamakazi itself into a barrier for you in the main quest, why not go further into this and allow players to actually be able to have their very own for personal use? Bruh! Call it "conjuration". And it syncs beautifully with things, as if you played Skyrim, hopefully you remember being able to force a Dremora Lord to submit to you. And later be able to summon 1 for your own. I'm on a roll here! >_<

I'd like that, even more if those "essences" extracted could be trapped in a bound item of single usage (consumed, one active at once)

I can't help wondering what the OP's current obsession with the word "Bruh" is all about, it extends even to "Bruh-bruh" and is meaningless to me. I don't recall it being used until recently. Do I assume it is some sort of Americanism? Or perhaps it's a generational thing? Either way I genuinely have no idea why it's suddenly appeared in every post the OP writes - not that I'm critical, just bewildered  !

Yep, along the river by the bank was the standard spot for tamers. Or along the south side if there were two of you, but only if you were selling different animals. Always got a good reaction when you arrived with a line of dragons.

I heard they changed it though, giving each animal a 'score' essentially and capping your total pet score, so basically you could only have 1 dragon at a time but could have about 5 horses. Seems a shame to me.

I'd love to see something like that in ESO, but I suspect it would need a lot of balancing. And maybe restrictions on what kind of daedra you can learn to summon.

As long as having a Daedra up doesn't take up two skill slots I'm down. I really would like being able to give them different active abilities though, give them commands and have their active ability be one of a few options for that specific type of Daedra. Conjuration needs it's own spot in the skills menu that should go more in-depth with summoning.

This here was my suggestion: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/287504/daedric-summoning-ai-and-improvements-ideas#latest

I would add, that it should depend on the amount of magicka a sorcerer currently has in their pool, what kind of daedra can be captured. It would keep it in a reasonable magnitude of creature...

Dude, if we can trap and "tame" Daedra... Do you know how much life that would breathe into the Sorcerer class? Specifically being a magicka-based Sorcerer? And not only that, but do you know how coverage and hype ESO would get for allowing players to do this?

WAIT! There's more! Let's further expand this concept of conjuration. Why stop at Daedra? Bruh, this could leak into necromancy. As there have been thousands of requests for necromancy to be introduced. The same process of "capturing" Daedra could be applied, but upon humanoid enemy NPC's that you've killed. Oh my word, what have I done!? THIS IS BRILLIANT! ZOS please have a look at this, and have this some strong consideration. Please! Pet builds can finally make a 10-fold comeback! @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_MattFiror @Wrobel @ZOS_Finn

OMG YES! As the maximum amount of magicka we have also depends on the amount of damage our pets do as well. So that has tons of synergy with this concept. The more max magicka you have, the stronger the Daedra and or humanoid NPC's you can bind to your will or raise from the dead.

So for example 50k or higher - Titan or Dusk-type Daedra (like Lord Warden type) or Lich, 40k to 49k - Air Atronach or Iron Atronach or Storm Atronach or strong zombie, 35k-39k a Frost Atronach or Flame Atronach or medium strength zombie, etc.

Edit: We could even expand this further. We could have certain Daedric creatures scale off of max stamina as well. That way magicka isn't getting all the glory. Actually, we could have air atronach's summoning requirements be met by max stamina as air atronachs wield swords. Heh.... Yep. And their overall damage output would depend on your max stamina, as certain other Daedra's damage output would scale with max magicka as per usual.
