Magicka sorc weapon/armor?

Im back on my sorc again and cant decide which weapon would suit me best. Im still pretty noob with my sorc (lvl19). Im summon sorc and used to run with 1h + shield but dont like it that much. Secondary weapon resto staff.

Atm trying destro staff + resto but id like to hear if there would be any better options for me. So what weapons are best for mag sorc? Also is it good idea to give up heavy armor and switch to light? Playing solo.

Hi Ardelli, although i'm technically a newbie my primary character is a Breton Sorcerer I seem to have some success with him, (pic of current look/status lol)

As you can see he's a heavy armour user with a death's wind armour set and some night's silence stuff too it's a mix of levels but the lowest is cp 130 blue going upto cp160 gold

Now I only started in June and have worked solo on 95% of things to get to this level , but have reskilled several times to optimise which is a pain
but in this set of pics you can see that it's a mixture

I've still got lot's to sort and styles to master yet but am nearly seven trait's across the board with 1 heavy eight lol
but it's a case of spot something workable and improve it lol
