Litany of Blood: Eldfyr Can't Be Found

I've searched everywhere. Literally everywhere. I have even checked online guides, and can't find them anywhere. I think this guy is bugged currently.

When I did it, he was the hardest too find. I found him second floor of the Fighters guild.

I checked there 5x, as that was the location of him in 2 videos of saw. No dice.

This guy was a pain for me to find as well. I eventually found him walking up a ramp from the canal on the north side of Riften.

Keep hunting, you'll find him

They move around pretty much the entire city, and they have multiple spawn points. Most likely you just keep missing him (possibly in part due to others finding him and killing him).

He roams all over Rifton, I found him walking by the backpack seller. Took a few hours and a several tries to hunt him down. When I did find him, I ran up to him, used to blade of woe not caring who saw, then jumped into the water to avoid the guards. Had over a 1K, nearly 2K bounty by the time I escaped.

I've been searching for this guy for literally a hour. Lol. I just can't seem to find him. I'm using an AD character, so I pretty much almost never run into another person there. So I don't think it's that somebody else is killing him. It's just that I genuinely believe he isn't spawning. I've found every single other person with no problems at all (except for the Skywatch girl). And now he's the only 1 separating me and my new polymorph.

I found him by the docks doing sit-ups near where those 3 people stand and chat on the lower level. But it took forever and I had gone by there dozens of times before he was magically there.

I just had him magically spawn after logging out and logging back in. O_o

Guides say he's like patrolling along the Mages and Fighters Guilds way and that, sometimes, he may be found inside one of these buildings, however, to me, after some time looking for him, he was behind these locations, in that little.. cemetery.

Regardless, if worth the tip, if any of these NPCs are taking too long to appear, just zone out for a few minutes to force them to change routes when you zone back in.

he was down in the fishing building (i guess you could describe it as) on the docks for me,

I was on an AD, and there was another AD spawn killing him... just saying!

Usually found fishing on the canal, or walking down the main road from where the guilds are towards the wayshrine.

Just killed him actually. He walks out the door of the fighter guilds, goes to pray in the graveyard, then goes fishing downstairs on the boardwalk.

Followed him for ages, same route over and over. I'd say wait outside FG door for him to show.

Yeah, I like the look of the polymorph but there was no way I was going to try to play with that jangle of bones noise every step. We need our ears for the sound effects of mobs and things like arrow snipe; having such sounds get cluttered by that bone rattle just wasn't going to work for me. So that and the other skeleton polymorph sit unused in the collection.

Argh I hate this guy!!

The first time I found him it took an hour. I found him in the middle of the town where the merchants are. I followed him instead of killing him... and he walked into the fighters guild. So I followed him in... Surely enough, he wasn't inside!!

Luckily he spawned back at the same location a few minutes later.

Since then I've seen him a few times though, he always gets the blade of woe.

Searched for an hour then i executed the lady in the graveyard behind the Fighters Guild and cooincidentally he walked out the front door almost ten seconds later as soon as I came around front. I had checked inside and he was nowhere in sight.

I think he is spawned when you kill others.

Eldfyr is the hardest to find because he doesnt always spawn in the same location and his respawn rate can be a bit buggy if others are killing him. It took me 3 hours to track him down. Sometimes it just takes coming back a few hours or days later.

I started using BoW in fighters guild hall. He showed up after 2nd kill.

To make maters worse, if you do find him and he decides to go into the fighters guild(or out of it if you found him inside)... Once he goes through the door, he completely vanishes. You follow after him but he is no where to be found.

That happens a lot with regular NPCs that are not related to the Litany tbh, there is a guy that walks into a house near the Stormhold wayshrine, but if you follow him he is not inside, and someone who walks into a bank somewhere who never appears inside. I think suspension of disbelief is required for some of the comings and goings of NPCs.

He was the last I needed and took be 2 hours to find him. I checked occasionally the fightersguild as people and some guides spotted him there. In the end I found him wandering to the right of the inn exactly this path:



He started below in the grass near a tree and walker the exact path. He didn't finish it though because I killed him.
