EU and NA server mergers?

Is it possible this would ever be a thing??
I play EU Xbox, have 560cp.... and am becoming tired of 1 active PvP campaign and second rate service compared to NA.
We have 2 campaigns for CP players and the Non CP campaign is dead and has been since it was added.
Our second CP campaign "Haderus" is permantly capped by one alliance, so even if you switch alliances you are either being gate farmed by EMP who cannot bear losing it or farming others at the gate, which really is no fun so people just stand around dueling each other.
Our "Active" PvP campaign "Scourge" only has playable pvp at around 2am till around 9am.... as after this time the server becomes pop locked and unplayable due to lag... but yet again this campaign is generally dominated by 1 alliance on a constant basis.
Go to IC.... it's dead... maybe few lowbies grinding or just there to find other lowbies to engage with.
I often feel tempted to roll an NA character.... but just feel like I'd lose too much hard work.
If a merger wouldn't ever be logistically possible.... an option to switch server?

As AzraelKrieg mentioned it's highly unlikely due the issues it would cause sadly. I recently re-rolled to PC EU because it's so much more active pvp/endgame pve wise. It's just one of those things you need to suck it up and re-earn everything sadly.

they dont need to be merged,they need to be more seperated so that we can have the old maintenance times back in EU.
If they would merge that would mean aprox 2 days of very long downtimes every week most likely during daytime in central Europe.0 -
Skcarkden✭✭✭✭It shouldn't happen. Latency would be a huge pain for some. It would mean all of EU would be forced to use the US server, because if given the choice which server do you think they would axe unanimously?
I'm in Australia, to play this game i have no choice but to be even more careful, red circles under my feet? for others it means "you should move now" for me it means "you've just been killed and don't know it yet", like a driver who turns on their indicator light after they just did the turn.
The best they could really do is implement cross platform play. but i doubt that would ever happen either because they'd have to admit there's a design flaw with spreading the entire playerbase across 6 versions of ESO, PC/PC/Xbox NA/EU for each once.1 -

Agreed, I played on PC when the EU server was located in the US, press button, count to three, watch ability fire, dodge roll, too late, already dead.0 -

I'm sure there is a simple way around that, such as just allowing duplicate character names. @names are all unique accross all platforms.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭That would make it hard for some people to play due to higher pings. I've spoken with players who play on the EU server because the ping to NA is so high that they can't do any challenging content.
I know folks in Australia and NZ have a higher ping of about 300 to NA. People connecting from places like South Africa would have a horrible time if they didn't have the option of the EU server.The Moot Councillor0 -
