Thank you to everyone who has suggested either an upgrade or Re-Style or Re-trait of an existing item. I didn't have time to search threads as I'm at work.

This is an expansion on those ideas and a suggestion on how they could be done.

Upgrade Specialist is a new Skill that's only available when the Profession is at level 50 and the first passive skill is maxed out. An achievement would also be added in for this as well.

Item Flag - Zenimax would need to add the player's @name to each item once they have been bound. Said player name is then listed on the item similar to the people listed on a BoP item we are able to trade to a group member. This then keeps the item from being equipped by any other player. The item would then be able to be traded to any player for 1 hour of time. After that time, the item appears in the owners inventory again. This item would also be excluded from Deconstruction(Owner can Decon but no one else) so there's no way that a player could lose this item permanently once traded for upgrade/change.

Upgrade Item Quality(Applies to any game item BoE or BoP):
A bound item is traded to the crafter to perform the item upgrade at a crafting table same as any other item upgrade. Item displays in the Improvement Section of the crafting table, crafter selects improvement, blah blah blah and done and upgraded.

Re-Style & or Re-Trait(New Icon after Improvement called Change and only applies only to crafted items): Lets be real on this, Zenimax isn't going to allow you to take a Maelstrom Fire Staff with Defending and make it sharpened so lets at least be able to do these for crafted items.

Item is traded to crafter for upgrading. Crafter goes to crafting table and clicks on the Change Icon, then selects the item to be changed. Only the Style and Trait bars are available for this, if you want a different level, create a new item. The crafter can then change the item to any style and traits that they know. Clicks R for change to be complete and viola, the changed item can then be traded back to the bound player.
