On the DB pts people made a big deal about block cost being decoupled from heavy armor. Then suddenly wrobel showed some calculations that included block frames. In the past each block consumed stamina, now we have block frames and stamina is only consumed once per frame no matter how many hits occur.
Does anyone know if block frames were made up on the spot and added to the pts? Did it ever work that way before? I just thought it was weird that blocking suddenly worked a different way in the middle of the pts amid the uproar. It just showed up quietly in the calculations with no announcement.

I believe the concept of block frames always existed. I say this because when I was a sap tank during the glory days of 1.4/1.5 there were a couple of times where I was permablocking an extremely large amount of players and my stamina was being drained at the same rate as it was with a large group of players. There was a point where the stamina drain from blocking seemed to cap out when you had a ridiculous amount of players beating on you.
