Both pve and pvp solo and groups. the maelstrom bow is bis in pve but not in pvp, surprise attack is better then flurry because it applies major fracture and can be animation cancelled, ambush grants empower while crit rush only grants a critical hit, so yea maelstrom enchants are useless for nightblade in pvp and pve solo and groups.BIS for what?
PvE?
Trials?
PvP?
Solo?
Group?
Collecting flowers?
For PVP most NB don't use crit rush they just use the 2h for the weapon damage and put a poison on it.That's what I currently do.In Vet MA only real solo content in this game yes surprise attack is better for that.In PVP surprise attack is better for a stamblade. In Group PVE surprised attack is useless because your tank will apply the debuff and you will do more damage with flurry in the long run.It also does more damage than surprised attack actually I remember @Decimus posted a thread about it a while back.So in End game PVE trials and Vet dungeons mainly the DlC ones you do more damage on a stamblade with MA DW and Bow.Stamina builds in PVE are heavy dot focus.BruhItsOver9000 wrote: »Both pve and pvp solo and groups. the maelstrom bow is bis in pve but not in pvp, surprise attack is better then flurry because it applies major fracture and can be animation cancelled, ambush grants empower while crit rush only grants a critical hit, so yea maelstrom enchants are useless for nightblade in pvp and pve solo and groups.BIS for what?

Also crit rush on my NB with sharp vma maul hits for 17k plus the bleed at least 6. Ambush and then empowering sup attack only does about the same combined, but the bleed cannot be dodged or blocked, when I get gap closed in pvp I always hold block or pop ward. One hit for the same power is surely better?
