Can't seem to find any info on how to actually get it. Is it a random drop? Does it also now include jewelry and weapons? Has it been updated to cp160? Where's a good place to farm it?

Thunderous Plate Mail:

Renamed this item set to Thunderbug’s Carapace.
This item set now procs when you take Physical Damage instead of melee damage.
Increased this item set’s proc chance to 50% from 10%, and added a 3 second cooldown.

Below are the locations for all existing and new Item Sets

Is it currently at cp160 or has it not been updated yet?

That I don't know. But it should be cp 160 on pts. Should scale based on your level. Looks like a nice set.
