Yeah this happends all the time, Cyrodiil is AvAvA zone and we all need to accept this very fast. There is very little space for small scale PvP and 1v1 builds... Thats why we have IC You can find there 1v1 and 1v2/3 very often

@Mayrael
Too bad that for 1, there's no reason to go there besides 2x telvar week and 2, it's saturated in PVE mobs everywhere you turn. It's not a true PVP zone as it doesn't have meaningful pvp objectives or leaderboards and there's no max cap on group size so zergs just frequent there too.
Cyrodiil is big enough for all styles of gameplay. Moving the entire community in the direction of "ZvZ or gtfo" is a very dangerous thing indeed. Especially considering how the servers handle large group warfare.

The servers have been handling the larger battles very well since Shadows of the Hist was released a few weeks ago. Highest my ping has been in prime time was around 220, which is better than most Oceanic players, average ping is around 110.
The mobs in IC are a joke now; quite literally you can spam brawler and wreck them in a few swings.
I've had quite a few fun small scale fights around the flags in IC. The problem is if you make those objectives a part of the scoreboard it'll attract even more large groups.
Overall, the PvP experience in ESO is one, if not, the best in any game. Spent a lot of time in Arenas and Battlegrounds in other games and by far Cyrodiil AvAvA is the best. (Never played DAOC).
Just gotta except the fact that if your a smaller group, every battle is the Alamo!!!

I'm sorry, but if people prefer to play solo/small scale they should be able to find it.

When I streak away and a full group chases me down, that group needs a better lead and to reevaluate their strategies. Any group wasting their time with one player certainly can't be disciplined enough to go toe-to-toe with skilled groups.
Back in the day in Decibel, we'd leave known 1vXers alone and you'd get yelled at for chasing down one guy. You cant have a raid full of dogs chasing squirrels and expect to be competitive.

Sorry, we have all been hunted by waves of players. The day you put yourself out there as a streamer there was a large target on your back. The day that video came out with germ, you had the satellites tracking your every move in Cyrodiil. No hate, just the truth.

Problem nowadays is 1vX players will lay down a camp and the 24 players my group just wiped Rez up.

If I want small scale I go to a resource away from everyone and fight awhile until it becomes too busy . This is only comical because of the place you've chosen .

You do realize that in order to get to those places one has to travel through highly concentrated areas, right? Idk about you but I don't just magically appear at resources.
