The lightning version of this skill does not crit, at least on xbox. With a frost and flame staff it can crit but never with a lightning staff. I only have impulse level 1 so far, I will test the morphs when I level it up. Testing with 68% crit chance so I should be seeing it crit.
Update: Got the skill to level 2 and it is now able to crit. Hopefully only level 1 was bugged.
