Anyone care to share a place you can farm 3 or more spawns for the Troves? Trying to find some of the Shadow Dancer gear but the place I usually try to farm in Grahtwood along the coast is being camped by some guy who hasn't left there in 2 days.
If you don't wanna make it public, you can message me. I'm not out to camp your favorite spot just want to try to get a few pieces of that gear tonight and tomorrow.
Someone told me Hews Bane but I don't have access to that at the moment.

I haven't done any of the DLC quests yet. I have the monthly subscription for the crafting bag, but I was doing all the quests in the regular areas before I started on any DLC. I've completed all quests in 5 areas so far and fixing to move to the 6th area. I could open the troves as soon as I paid the monthly subscription. I guess I'll just do the first quest to get access to Abah's Landing and go from there. I was gonna wait but I'm already level 50 so it won't hinder my leveling or anything at this point, lol0 -

✭✭@Deathgiggle, my advice is go do the very first thieves guild quest, it's easy, and then you'll have access to all the thieves troves you can find anywhere. ✭✭These troves seem to be farmed heavily, though it doesn't make much sense. They don't yield much of worth very often. I've only found a few of them scattered around Tamriel. I will say they are often found around broken wagons, crates, huts, abandoned campsites, and similar locations. ✭✭✭✭✭I would not say that Hew's Bane is all that better for Troves than any other zone.
They do spawn in the same places, and I find a surprising number of them near bridges and on top of rocks that are fun (saying that with a grain of sarcasm) to climb up. As above, campsites, broken carts things like that are all good places to find them. Also, some say that going into First Person makes them easier to find one you start to hear them.
I know you don't need to do any of the Thieves Guild content to find Troves that are anywhere in the world. I have only one character who has done any of the TG content. All my other ones have barely visited the zone, much less done any Quests for the Thieves. And, I find Troves in every zone that has the Justice System. Note, I have not farmed Coldharbor or Cyrodiil for these things, so they might be there, but might not be too.Edited by Nestor on August 29, 2016 7:09PMEnjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
