Armor Set Naming Conventions

This has been something that has bothered me for a while, but I've never posted about it, because it is a minor gripe, but it is getting to be a bigger problem these days, so I would like to ask if we can change the naming of all the armor set pieces so that everything is consistent and sort-able.

I know the developer that thought of the name "Memento of the Footman" was really proud of how cool that name sounded when the set was first introduced, but for us players it is a bit of an inconvenience since it doesn't sort with everything else that is a "Ring of the <Insert name of gear set>", but then we have other sets that follow the convention of Gearset + Equip Location like "Widowmaker Helmet" (which I like), but again it is not consistent, because we still have "Helm of Mazzatum" in the new gear sets.

Can we please name everything consistently from now on? Even better, can we rename everything already in the game with the Gear set name + Equip Location convention? That way when I go to change out a set I can sort by name, pick the 5 items that start with the set name that I am looking for and not have to remember whether it was a Pendant, Necklace, Choker, Ring, Band, Memento, Collar, etc that I was looking for.

For example, the "Cuirass Of The Eternal Yokeda" would become "Eternal Warrior Cuirass" and "Cuirass of Leeching" would become "Leeching Plate Cuirass" and so on.

With this change it would be easier to tell what pieces of each set I have at a glance, equip different sets without having to scroll back and forth in my inventory list to find each one and it would make my gaming life as a gear hoarder & altaholic so much happier.

That would be pretty awesome. It really annoys me that I have to scroll through my extensive wardrobe to find out how many pieces I have of a set.

i assume from.this you can sort by name?? That's news to me!!! Is this just on PC??

You should be able to sort by any colum heading, price, name etc. For sure you can do this with the Bank Listings etc. I would hope this is not a PC only thing, for no other reason than it makes it easy to get rid of the 0 value gear you autoloot.

As for sorting items by set name, yes, this would be a nice function. Especially since I have 200 Bag Slot Mules storing my excess gear (since they are not carrying mats anymore) it gets tedious to find all the pieces.

This is my issue as well... The crafting bag (while an awesome addition) made it possible for me to use my bank to store all the different gear that I am playing with.

I have 9 different max level characters (thanks to Veteran to CP conversion) that I am trying different gear combinations on. I have 3 Magicka DPS characters and 2 tanks that share gear so I can run a different on when one is on a "coffer cool down" for a trial.

I realize this is a bit of a "First World Problem" and people with 1 max level character that just outfitted it with legendary gear for the first time will not have much sympathy, but I hope this is an easy change that would save me and any anybody else that likes tinkering with alts and builds a lot of headaches.
