✭✭Happened to me for the first time yesterday in Cyrodiil, trying to use a gap closer, rushed forward, loading screen, falling through blue space, loading screen, back to where I was, still alive (at least).Australian on PS4 NA server.

I have more problems with gap closers in Cyro than anywhere else. Had this happen to me once about a month ago in Deshaan though so it isn't Cyro exclusive.1 -

That's a good point, it does look very much like a heart and that arrow looks like it's pointing somewhere around Vvardenfell. There are 2 other arrows pointing roughly SE, one could be towards the Maw of Lorkhaj, Lorkhaj being another name for Lorkhan.

✭✭✭✭✭I can tell you why this happens, but not why it seems to happen with Gap Closers.
If there is a slight mismatch in the ground textures it can cause a crack in the seam, if your character steps on that "crack" it can fall through to the void. This mismatch or tear or whatever you want to call it does not need to be all that big, even just a pixel or two, if the foot of the character hits that seam or crack, you can fall. We have had this since Morrowind. Thing is, if you try to make it happen on purpose, it never seems to work (to intentionally cause the fall)
I would think that Gap Closers would not have this issue as you pass over the crack so quickly, but I guess instead of being moved across the ground, your just running really fast along a path instead.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
