So i think
@ZOS_BrianWheeler has stated that editing Battle Spirit on a campaign by campaign basis is not possible (because of how they designed the system)
I also know that on Azura (no CP campaign), some builds can't actually play at all because their build relies on CP to counter battle spirit's negative effects (as a mDK this is certainly true). Having no CP and having 50% battle spirit tax, most Azura players are forced to spec into high damage or run in groups.
But what if we were to remove Battle Spirit and CP from a campaign? Yeh, we would lose 5k health, but then it gives a reason to lessen your damage to invest more into health and surviving. It would put a bigger focus on resources and regen (like the 1.5 days) and speccing into dmg isnt as necessary because we arent taxed -50% (again like the 1.5 glory days). Skills that are destroyed by battle spirit (eg. dragon blood, igneous shield, blazing shield, bone shield and DOTs in general) are once again viable. Gank builds that spec full damage can burst you, but wont have the resources to infinitely roll away or escape unless they are lucky/skilled.
What are your opinions on this?
I feel like it would give us something new to play with in PvP and could be something very fun not having to focus everything on damage because you need to bypass battle spirit and the CP systems. Azura always looks like fun but its a constant resource battle because you cant kill if you dont spec into full damage and this remedies that problem.
