body markings and vampirism

I dont think its fair that i decide to go vampiric and use the stage 4 for the movement stealth speed for cyrodiil and purchase the crescent moon body marking to make my cat look the part even more so, only to find out the body markings are almost completely washed out, pigments like these should not be effected, only the skin tone should, seems like lazy coding to me and another waste of money.

There have been heaps of threads on this, yes it's really silly that your body markings fade with vampirism (including make-up, war paint, and tattoos) and don't even get me started on the dramatic skin colour change! My poor Redguard...

If you don't mind wearing disguises from your inventory though, there's a current bug which will make you appear mortal while wearing them so you can see all your original markings. I'm hoping they do take a look at the issue of markings being faded out at the very least, they should appear over the top of the vampiric skin instead of underneath it.

Yeah, that bug has been around for several weeks. Happened with the [Courier Uniform] That you get from a quest. Nice looking imperial robe, sleeveless. But after the last update, when you wear it, I revert to my orcish dark skin. I like the pale goth rocker appearance that I had as a stage 4 vampire, so put that uniform away for the time being and bought a dark sleeveless costume from the crown store that retains my stage 4 appearance. Art work department said they would look at the issue.

Yes, it is ridiculous. Vampirism layer should at least be under every layer of body painting, although even that is not ideal because the vampirism layer would still make dark-skinned characters purple.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I think I've voiced my opinion on that matter a lot on these forums but it is so ridiculous. I made my Redguard paler with appearance change so he's white with vampirism now instead of lavender but still what the heck's with the massive colour change?! I'm just not sure it'll ever be looked into :/, I do have hope for body paint/make-up/tattoos though.

knowing the way eso is heading there will probably be a "feature" you can "buy" in the crown store to remove vampire visual effects instead of a toggle for on/off or some such.
