Anyone else having issues with the writs?

Since last patch when I finish crafting the elements of the writs I don't get the credit right the way, I need to drop the quest and pick it up again to be able to go delivery it.

Does anyone have the same problem?

NA PS4 btw.

I have seen quite a few others on the board have this issue. So it's not just you.

I just did writs across all my characters last night and again this morning. No issues with getting credit for making things.

Now, there are a flurry of messages surround writs when you both pick them up and then complete them. But, those are not needed to be able to turn the writs. I say this because I can see the Arrow for the Writ Drop off appear on my compass before I start seeing all those messages, in particular with ones doing provisioning writs as I have the stuff already made.

So, long story short, did you look to see the arrows above the writ containers where you turn them in? It may be you could have turned them in the first time around.

It doesn't complete the quest.

For example it shows on quest tracker (top right corner of the screen):

Craft Ruby Ash Bow: 0/2
Craft Ruby Ash Shield: 0/1

If I craft the bows it shows
Completed: Craft Ruby Ash Bow 2/2

And the quest tracker updates to:
Craft Ruby Ash Shield: 0/1

Then I do the Shield, it doesn't show the message "Completed: Craft Ruby Ash Shield: 1/1"

But on the quest tracker it shows:
Craft Ruby Ash Shield: 1/1


So I cant return the items on the box. I gotta drop the quest go to the board pick it up again, then it will allow me go to drop it on the box.

Wonder if this is platform specific......

How much time are you waiting for the quest to update? I am sure some amount as you are dropping the quest, but I wonder if more time would let it update.

Also, have you tried either rezoning or reloading your ui? In the text chat, /reloadui will do that, as for zoning, going in and out of the Outlaw Refuge will do that.

You can, actually. Just ignore this message, go to wayshrine and teleport to Orsinium instead: when you are there, quest trakers are automatically updated from "Craft Ruby Ash Shield: 1/1" to "Deliver items to trade post" (or something...)

I get the same wonky quest tracker error with my writs but it doesn't prevent me from turning them in. In fact, if I rezone it corrects it self and says turn in to where ever.

I get the exactly same display errors you're getting, but it hasn't effecting me turning the writ in. I have had an issue with getting crap rewards from my writs lately, but then again all RNG hates me.

I have the same issue but zoning to Wrothgar after I complete the writs resolved the display issue.

I get the same 1 of 1 and not showing complete on the XB1-NA. I am able to turn in the writs with no issues .....

You don't need the quest to tell you to go deliver it to deliver it, provided you have crafted all of the items and know WHERE to deliver them in the first place.

As for me, no problems.

I have the same quest tracker error, but aint got problems turning them in.

i'm on na ps4, no issues. but I only do enchant/alch writs.

haven gotten a kuta on 2 toons in about 6 weeks, and almost never see a survey; but other tha that they work fine for me.

specifically, what writs are you doing? Maybe it's just certain ones that are bugged out.
