Elusive MISTFORM BROKEN rooting and stunning possible video attached

Finally I was able to show proof that mistform is broken and stuns are able to go through... The skill tooltips reads as follows: "Grants you major expedition, increases your movement speed by 30% for 4 seconds...Also removes and grants you immunity to ALL crowd control and immobilization effects WHILE active."

That sure sounds contrary to what I recorded in the video below... I was not moving 30% faster... and I was repeatedly snared and rooted.

This has happened to me. There are times when mist form does not purge snares, and in those cases, you can be snared further. And the ALL crowd control thing isn't true. Gap closers still afflict mist form with snares (old news) and if you happen to be in PvE-land, those traps on the ground still affect you as they normally would. They can snare, stun, knock back, and even immobilize depending on the trap. It'd be nice if there weren't any loopholes in the defense of the skill when you already forfeit any and all healing directed at you for the duration, not to mention magicka regen. Shuffle doesn't have such a weakness.

I've also experienced times when mist form doesn't mitigate any damage, unless you mean to tell me that two different randoms hit me with 16k tooltip ambushes. In a no-CP campaign. The theoretical 32k crit of a RD pulse I could believe, however.

The snare thing on your vid is effect of "fixing" fap... gap closers, as it applies unavoidable snare so anytime someones is escaping you just use gap closer he wont be able to escape even with escape skill, the only escape move that works is... (drums) dodge roll. It happends to me all the time btw, just watch carefully, each time you slow down someones charging at you. The only thing i dont understand from the vid was the root moment, thought you were cought in a gap between casts but no.. Maybe few gap closers at a time can decrease your movment to 0? Dont know that...

it is the GAPCLOSER spam that actually "snares" you. Everytime sb uses a gapcloser on you you basically get "stopped or stunned" for a few miliseconds.

Gapcloser in their form atm are just pure cancer.

This is what I noticed if multiple people gap closer you let's day 3 it'd a reasonable number of people.If all 3 gap closer you at the same time it promote locks your character in a similar way to immobilizing them.Also even when dodging rolling you only escape the damage but still get the snare.

The way ZOS went about 'fixing' Gap closers really messed a lot of things up. if you get gap closed, you slowed by a large amount so that the Gap closer can hit you whenever it is used, this has caused a few issues with it acting as a semi root for people.

It was done as before Gap closers would be used and people running would keep running and the gap closer would miss entirely.

You may have already been debuffed with slowed speed before that spell was cast. If you look at the time stamps on your video, your using a Flame staff and at the 6 second mark, you show a 2k Hit from Frozen Weapon which slows your movement speed. That skill will not cleanse debuff's, only prevent them from happening while casted. Your skill wasn't cast until 11 seconds into the video when movement was already slowed. At least that's what it looks like is happening when I watch the video.

Actually, according to the tooltips, it should remove them AND grant immunity to them while active. "Also REMOVES and grants you immunity to ALL crowd control and immobilization effects while active", it says.

Mist form is bugged as of this patch. It's not a gap closer snare, it's a external snare not being removed. Either some type of snare is bypassing the remove mechanic or the remove mechanic is buggy. Rooted/stunned in mist form is also possible now. Usually happens as I am retreating from 5-10 people

Yeah... This fap closers "fix" dint fixed them as they still dont hit 100% of a time on runing target, but it broke lot of other things like escape skills (mist, manuever, cloak...)
