Gold coast dailies.

Went on the hunt today for the minotaur motif...all toons got the crappy arena quest. No motif either. But is it the same quest per day? Will it be the boss I want tomorrow or did I just get the same crap for every toon / bad luck. Wrothgar dailies never did this once.

Each character has a schedule on the GC dailey WB and Delve. One day they will get one, the next the other(This has been observed as true on 10 characters since SoTH launched)... You can do both of each set per day though if you have someone share the quest you don't get.

Yes the drop rate is VERY bad.

After 30+ dailies, I had 3 motifs. At this point, I decided to buy the rest of them from guild stores...

Like Wrothgar world boss dailies, these can be shared too. People form groups in /zone all the time.

I actually thought the drop rate was pretty good, especially for dailies which don't take much time to complete. Much easier motifs to acquire than, say, Glass or Ancient Orc.

I get so much of these glass motif fragments from doing the crafting writs that I managed to sell a stack of 100 a few days ago.

I have to agree with Ancient Orc. I think I found only 2 of these myself. I had to buy the rest of them

The toons that got Arena today will get Minotaur tomorrow. My toons seemed random which they one they first got 5 got Arena, 5 got the Mino, and they have switched back and forth each day since.

Fortunately, the daily you don't get can be shared. So, you'll still be able to complete both world boss dailies.

Such is the nature of RNG. Some get a lot of good drops, some get none.

I had very good luck with Glass and Ancient Orc, and now I'm having some luck with the Order of the Hour motif pages. Minotaur, though? Not so much. Hardly ever get a page, and they are usually the same two pages.

No, it's random each day for each character. Fortunately, the daily you don't get can be shared. So, you'll still be able to complete both world boss dailies.

Its not random each day. You get what you didn't get from the board the day before.

I use a spreedsheet to see what quest each toon needs(I prefer to do the one they can't get from the board first), it has been spot on every day since SoTH was released.

In keeping with the RNG theme, Order of the Hour was more difficult for me to collect. After spending quite a few days on the last chapter (Order of the Hour Chests) ... I finally found another player that could trade for an extra.

this. same with me. They alternate aech day....but you can still share the quests if you find someone that has the other one. So it is possible to do both each day on each toon

limenauruus only drops those.

If you can only do 1 of each of the quests per day per character, is it really repeatable? The wrothgar dailies, I believe, you can do them as many times as you have people in your group right? So why aren't the Gold Coast dailies like that? Surely zenimax can see the drop rate for the motifs are so terrible that letting people do them more than 2 times a day won't be hurting anything

No, the Gold Coast world boss quests and the Wrothgar world boss quests work in exactly the same way.

You can only pick up 1 quest per day from the quest giver.
If you are in a group the quest can be shared.
You can only get the shared quest if you don't already have a different one of the zone's world boss quests active.
You can only do each individual world boss quest once per day (a day being defined as the time from when the quests reset until the next time they reset) per character.

So you can do a maximum of 6 Wrothgar world boss dailies on one character in one day, because there are a total of 6 different Wrothgar world boss quests. Likewise you can do a maximum of 2 Gold Coast world boss dailies on one character per day, because there are a total of 2 different Gold Coast world boss quests.
