What I feel they have to do, if they do add the mystery/random gamble box.

For one, what we know is they are adding cosmetics to the box, that were limited time in the past which is fine thats not the problem.
The major problem is putting excusive mounts and other things into the box, I am sorry but this is something they can't do. They should make it where they go through the crown store for limited time first and foremost. They should never add them to the box without at least giving players the chance of getting them without the gamble. I personally feel a weekly rotation of limited time items would be a much better system. This is something they should consider, its better and does not waste peoples money on a chance not to get what you want. I know a lot of people will agree with me on this. They do need to rethink the gamble boxes they should never add them.

I'm incredibly upset that the best we're hoping for at this point is a slightly-less-terrible gambling system. This is so out of touch with the player base's desires and our previous relationship with the service providers.

I do agree, the gamble system would possibly be abused, its why they have to reconsider adding exclusives to the gamble boxes. They should be limited outside the gamble box. Players are already leaving because of the gamble boxes or unsubbing. I feel its a mistake to add them. But a weekly rotation of limited time items, would work much better. They can add an npc, with the items, and you pay crowns to buy the items. That way they have enough room for items on the crownstore if they have such limited space for it. This way its not a gamble and something players would prefer.
