Argonian robots taking over Mournhold

Please send help @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

There appears to be an infestation (sorry Argonians) of level three Argonians with robotic voices in Mournhold on the PS4 EU server.

They seem to have a fried chip as they just keep repeating themselves about a website we can go to and buy gold.

Usual report process has yet to yield results and it keeps sneaking back, must be a shadowscale.

Until the reptile catcher comes to sort it out, you might want to turn area chat off or at least lower your headphone volume :)

Thanks guys. The reports really do help. :)
I'm aware that the team in charge is thwarting them as they come but it does take time.
This is obviously a new development for consoles, so keep letting us know what you see.

Lol it's actually rather clever. Who would have thought they'd go with such an elaborate setup to spam it over voice chat when text chat is readily available? Never saw this coming that's for sure. I think we were more expecting them to use the text chat. I'm not condoning it in anyway, it's just unique and unexpected.

Honestly you can't really expect them to all go away, they will always be around now, however large or small in number. Other games that have been around for a long time have the same thing, all you need to do is put as many of them on your ignore list as possible lol.

    Saxhleelnet is here.

Step 1 - Terminate the Dark Elves.

Step 2 - Sell their gold for profit.

    I mean, that's what's going on, right?
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Well, text chat its much easier for them to ban them or report them. using area chat makes it easier on them I guess. But so long as pc does not have any goldsellers spamming in chat I am good and hope zenimax can get rid of the botters on consoles.

I do seem to remember the advertisers being pretty much gone in PC zone chat, however i had been getting the occasional whispers and whatnot regarding it, so they're still there.

Mostly do to the risk on their accounts, if they spam zone chat. They have a program to detect them also, if they make too much mats in a manner that should not be possible or the program feels your cheating with a bot program it will detect it and then they do a social ban on the bot, they can't mail, sell on guild stores basically muted, and unable to pass on items. Not sure if this also blocks trade which I hope they do, have to prevent them from tradding wiht another bot account. So yes, the measures they have in place are good enough to hinder them but I don't think they have those same measures on consoles because of the design and they would not have full control as much as they would on pc. They have to count on microsoft and sony. Which they have to send patchs and game data too which means they possibly don't have full control of the data on console.
This might also explain why they do not use text chat because, it would be riskier to do it that way. But I think they will try it on consoles at some point in the future. I sure hope not, and I hope zenimax gives them the middle finger once again like they did with pc version. :)
