Why not add additional skill slots?

    Lets say you got that 1 more slot.. Then the game would have to be tweaked.. Then someone else says "aw if I just had 1 more slot, then I could do X"... And then the nightmare has begun

    Pick 5 plus ultimate x2 is strategic. The more skills they add, the more builds would become cookie cutter and macro. I like it the way it is. How about just fix broken skills instead.

    Personally though, I think we'd free a lot of builds up if we removed passive buffs gained for slotting otherwise useless skill. while we don't need 2 six-skill bars, it would be nice if we could at least use the 5 that we do.

    And along with that, create a passive ability bar which you just pick active passives for both bars but don't use up ability slots... Now we're talking huge overhauls which are extremely improbable.

    odd, nobody by now has posted a SS of an older game(even current games) where one could see 3-5 bars of 10-12 skills (IE 30-60 skills) along the bottom, with 2-3 more vertical bars on side with 10-12 more skills.

    Ahh the nightmare that would be.


    IMO I'm fine with it as it is, hell even less 'active' skills and only a limited selection of 'passive' skills would work for me (IE you have x slots for passive abilities)

    So many think that limiting your choices limits your potential, the truth is, restricting your actions INCREASES your ability and more 'YOU' do matters and less the macro/lag/latency/facekeyboardmashingspeed matters.

    Uh, except that's what it does now. If you're not using the "right" combo of skills, or the most broken ones available (and yes, if they weren't broken they wouldn't be the best ones to use), you're gypping yourself.

    Blame that on the MMO crowd finding every way to exploit the game and then passing it off as the norm. Using every screen readout possible to figure out exactly what does the most of whatever, and then bragging about it so others start doing it too, and then when someone says anything...

    The number of skill slots is fine. We all have times that we would like a 6th slot on each bar but somehow we do just fine with 5. I think having to chose skills carefully works well.

    Yeah just spam RD, Frags or Ambush.
