Cant buy Crowns?

Im having a problem that i had a year ago. Any time i go to buy crowns and i get transferred to the steam page to purchase them i immediately receive this error message.
An error was encountered while processing your request:
An unexpected error occurred while authorizing your transaction. Please try again.
I was receiving this message a year ago. I contacted support. But the problem was never fixes. Any assistance is appreciated.

✭✭So you're just trying to buy directly from the website and it transfers you to steam, or you get transferred to steam after you select a buy crowns option in-game? I've personally never bought crowns before, but I would imagine that buying from the ESO website would work just like buying ESO plus does, without having to involve steam with it. cyberjanet✭✭✭✭✭I have exactly the same problem. It's impossible to buy crowns. I have solved the problem by buying crowns through ESO Plus. It does mean I can't take up the crowns special offer. I have written to support about it, but they tell me to contact Steam. I guess it's their crowns and if they don't want to bother they can refer me to an outsourced company that cares even less about it.
