PS4: Minotaur Motif Drop Rate

So I'm interested in hearing how you guys are finding the drop rate for the Monotaur Motif...

I am wondering if there is something wrong with it on PS4.

I have done the mission on all characters everyday, 28 times now, and not a single motif. That does not seem right to me!

Is the motif actually dropping for anyone?

I added another 8 last night, so total 36 times in Tribunes Folly, I got 1 motif! 1 motif for 36 times is insane.

Has to be something going wrong there

Hmmm, I'm starting to wonder if its something with my account.

How many times did you do it to get a drop?

The drop rates on Motifs are very low. They want you to buy them in the crown store.

I would agree with you except they have never released trinimac or malacath. I have done the daily around 8 times myself, 0 drops.

Well 40 times and counting.

Friends have got quite a few of them in just a few goes, a friend just did 3 times and got 2 motifs... so I'm not sure what's going on

I have done the daily delves almost everyday and I have received a few trinimac. I have done the daily boss fights and have recieved a few malcath. The drops rates are low but it does give me a goal to achieve.

the drop rates on malacath and trinimac seem higher than Minotaur

I've been keeping track, but haven't totaled up the numbers, but so far for 14 runs with 3 chars a day each doing folly, arena, and black sacrament quest I believe I have got around 20 or so Dark Brotherhood motifs (enough to finish it with several duplicates), 5 Minotaur motifs, and 3 Order of the Hour motifs. This is on PC, so I don't know if it helps you though.

Wow that seems like a great drop rate. I've done 41 runs total and have 2 Minotaur motiifs to show for it. Friends are joking with me asking if I have upset anyone over at ZOS... lol I don't think I have lol

I guess? I don't see why the drop rates would be different between the consoles and PC. I think ZOS set them too low for minotaur and order of the hour myself.

Also I think your just on bad streak. Keep at it, and you'll get on a hot streak. It took me forever to complete the black sacrement achievement where you have to kill all the targets. One target (Elsindore) refused to show up, and i have been checking it pretty much daily since DB dropped. I only just got him yesterday. Sometimes RNG is just not on your side.

Yeh I think you are right, 43 runs and 2 motifs is defo a bad streak

I wondered if it was a bug, but it seems others are getting drops so it may just be me lol

I'm on PC and I've been doing all the daily quests in GC since the last DLC and haven't got a single one. I thought there was something wrong with my character so reported it as a possible bug. It might not be, but really it seems weird that even after so many shots nothing had dropped. With older motifs rewarded in similar ways I've never experienced this before and would have got at least a few pages by now...

I dunno but to me it's odd.

I've had about 70 or so runs of Looming Shadows now. In all that I've had 4 motifs drop from the reward crate. It's a mystery why they have made the drop so rare. If I didn't need the style for my Tank I would have given up. It's just kind of expected that it won't drop now. Order of the Hour from Kvatch Arena seems to drop more often, strangely.

I finally got around to totaling these up for my runs on PC. This is 3 characters a day, each doing the Assassination Mission, Arena and Folly once each. Since the group finder was broken I didn't have much else to do, but now that's semi working again I am probably gonna stop soon. Anyway:

I recorded 41 results for the DB missions, of which 22 times I received a motif, and 19 times I did not. I stopped once i got all of them.

For the Arena, I have recorded 57 runs, of which the motif dropped 5 times.
For Folly, I also have 57 runs, of which the motif dropped 7 times.

I also got 8 Assassin League Dagger motifs, 8 Assassin League axe motifs, 9 Assassin League Belt motifs, and 5 Assassin League Glove motifs.

Hmm I don't get it. Since 16th August I have run Looming Shadows from Tribunes Follly 105 times. From that I have now had 5 motifs, some of those are duplicates.

The drop rates of everything else seem fine. Kvatch Roar of the Crowds is not a common drop, but seems to drop far more often than Looming Shadows. Seems wrong to me

Im on xbox the master crafter of our friends has collected the whole motif probably about 5 days ago we sold all our extras we got 2-5 a day on 8 toons each not between usid say its a pretty good drop

seems to be a little under 10% drop rate for me and those I farm with. Order of the Hour is slightly worse than Minotuar for me too. ps4/NA/DC

Why are you worried for a motiff? if you want use best in game gear you will end wearing a style of this and one of the other and worst thing of all all, this gear is looted and you can't change the motiff already have

I got 1 mino page in a week farming on 8 chars and only junk order peices daggers bows belts

Then maybe it's something on PS4 if the drop rate is so high on Xbox. I had 7 characters and run everyday on all since 16th August, created 2 more 2 weeks ago and been running it on those too, thats around 182 times... 7 motifs, some duplicates

Terrible; I've run that event three times a day, minus two days, since the DLC dropped I have three motif pages.

I have six Order of the hour
And 11 of the dark brotherhood which Ionky run on one character.

I got my first minotaur motif on pc after 2 weeks of farming on 7 chars... that was 98 times before i got a motif..
