Try running a permablocking Malubeth tank with reactive. Then you only need one bar, and you don't need to break free!

Yes, it's super laggy. You hit weapon swap, nothing happens, you hit it again, then you double weapon swap, hit an ability, get stuck in the animation, try to cancel out of it, try to weapon swap again and then 10 seconds later, you got it.

One other side possibility is enemies using interrupts like deep breath, crushing shock, venow arrow, will actually prevent you from weapon swapping and interrupt you. It's very annoying, especially combined with the first scenario.
