When the dye system was introduced, Elven Hero and Treethane costumes quickly became my favourite.

And I've been wanting to dye the Mages Guild Formal Robes with the Mages Guild and Eyevea blues since I got them so that was the first thing I did:

This pic looks so good! Your character is very handsome.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
Meet my characters:Command: Do the thing.
Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

✭✭✭✭✭I thought I share, what the ball gown looks like in a royal blue color (I think it is called improved blue rare), I like it a lot more than the original color. I just used that color on the 2nd and 3rd slot and left the 1st free.

To me it is the same with the elven hero costume - if I would have known, that we will get costume dye, I would have bought it. That red in the front part is the original color, it has this silky shine by default. And that "improved blue", which is used on the other 2 slots, is a rare style which comes with that silky shine as well, so this was fortunate for a more royal look - especially because this color is pretty much royal blue.1 -

Haha I was very happy with that shot of him, even though that outfit is so far removed from his normal fashion sense of robes, robes, and more robes! It just looks too good on him dyed to not wear, I call it the "swanky suit"
