Penetration Resistance Nirnhoned idea
So I have this idea
Due to penetration being so powerful lately compared to nirnhoned or any other form of damage output for PVP. Why not make a armor trait exclusively for penetration resistance? Why not change the fortified nirnhoned trait to penetration resistance? Lets face it Nirnhoned (weapons or armor) are just not worth having on any piece of gear over Sharpened, Precise Impenetrable or even Sturdy and Well-Fitted for most cases
Nirnhoned is suppose to be some rare exclusive trait with effort/time to aquire to be able to craft certain pieces. I'm not talking about make it overperform other traits but at least it deserves to stand just as equal to all the others and have more than one useful perk than just "good against shield stackers" or 300~ resistance gain which again penetration just negates that. Right now it is definitely underpowered atm
I'm also not talking about a trait increasing Armor value/resistances like what the current Reinforced or Nirnhoned does. More like reduce penetRation by a % or formulated similar how critical resistance is calculated.
•Majority of player have another choice in PVP besides Impenetrable. 2 PVP exclusive traits instead of one
•Dedicated Tanks can be viable in PVP now (without the so called OP malubeth set that's going on atm)
•Light amor user can actually feel like they are running around with clothes on now.
What are people's thoughts on this?
Will also talk about Nirnhoned Weapons and improvements in another topic or in this one. Opinion and explanation on either would be good. Please share and hope ZOS takes considerations
