installed game: directx error on launch despite seemingly having directx12 installed

Please help me rly want to play this game . So I install the game digitally, ticking the directx install option. I try launch it and get this:

So no idea why it wont work, maybe my PC isn't cut out for it .

UPDATE (about 5 mins later lol). Fixed the problem by doing this:

Further update. Game launches now. I can log in but it crashes during the trailer and the trailer is choppy in places. if I skip it the game crashes after the post-trailer loading screen is on for ages.

It's because your card is a DX10 card and it does not support DX11. ESO now requires a minimum DX 11 capable card + system to play.

Your system is level DX 12, so that mean DX 9, 10 and 11 games can run on it, but since your card is only DX 10 capable that is as far as you can go.

Thanks I suspected that might be it. Guess Im stuck waiting for a new card for a while.
