• EU megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)
We are currently investigating issues some players are having on the North American megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

No group finder fixes in patch notes?

    I am assuming the group finder tool is still broken due to the bugged grouping system in general that we are experiencing. I think seeing how this is a group based MMO, we should spend all assets on getting a working party system and dungeon finder tool working as intended 100% ASAP. By end of day preferably.

    Fingers crossed though it seem to be that it is often marked as fixed while people still claim it to be broken. How do we know if it works properly?

    Note: You may run into an issue if you initiate a group, it appears like nothing happened. As a temporary workaround, you can relog or change zones, and the group UI will then appear."

    Then this is for grouping in general (manually), nothing to do with the grp finder (tool) the OP implied. :)

    Until they get this sorted out, in EP, Deshaan is the place to be if you are looking for a group. Lots of players have gone back to the old ways of using zone chat to form groups. I suspect it's like that for other factions as well.

    I hope it's fixed now, but it doesn't sound like they are even working on the issue I'm having with group finder which is just sitting in the queue indefinitely.

    Oh, geez. I totally misread the OP, sorry about that!

    The issues surrounding grouping may be impacting the Grouping Tool as well in that once you're grouped, you could essentially be stuck in a group (even though the UI makes it appear like you're not grouped), hence not being able to get into a group using the Grouping Tool. We're continuing to keep an eye on any outstanding issues with grouping, and the tool itself.

    Thank you @ZOS_GinaBruno. I hope we get a working system soon here. I know im not the only person here who would dump loads of money to support this game if we could easily use a tool to group us up and throw us in dungeons in a timely manor all day long!

    While i get what you mean. But for me i pay for the sub since i think as much as i play i dont mind 15 dollars a month as payment for their services. And i buy the extra stuff i like, because i like them. Im not really spending less or more because the group finder is broken.

    But having said that the group finder is one of my favorite parts of the game. There will come a time where ill just find another game that can do what i like to do.

    I just came back to the game with my son after about 6 mths, he was new to the game. He's already moved on because he can never find groups, so he's not playing anymore. I'm starting to level up alts but I hate to waste time shouting in chat and, more importantly, being confined to the capital city zone when I could be fishing, finishing achievements, etc. IF the group finder worked.
    I actually have never had it go off, even after 7-8 hours, so I don't know what it looks like. Is it a sound or a popup? @ZOS_GinaBruno ?

    Its supposed to pop up and ask you to port to the dungeon.
