Unbinding Items

I golded and put new enchantments on a few armor pieces and a staff and they were no longer bound. Does this happen for all sets in the game included things like purple monster pieces? I did it on willpower and destruction mastery pieces which are usually freely tradable, I've got loads of viscious ophidian and infallible aether pieces though and was just wondering if these would become unbound as well, don't want to waste any dreugh wax or temps testing it out.

So you are saying that even with my Jerkin Of Destruction Mastery, a piece which is bind on equip and freely tradable when you get it, even that shouldnt become unbound when you improve it?

I would test it with a monster helm and if it becomes UNbound I'd sell it but you may get banned as it could be seen as an exploit since you aren't meant to be able to sell them

Stuff becoming unbound upon upgrade or enchantment is NOT supposed to happen - if you take advantage of it, be aware that it is possibly an exploit

Epona was a Romano-Celtic goddess dating back to around 1800 to 2000 years before computer games were invented.

I tested it with a purple enchantment on a rubbish willpower staff and it didn't unbind that so it must have been the improving which did it. I'll test it out later on another piece of my purple armor which I would improve anyways and see if it still does it.
