Grand Overlord rank should have a passive

Careful what you wish for - a cape without cloth physics to make it flow properly would look even worse than no cape, IMO.

I don't know about buffs but I think for the factions sake if a rank 50 is leading a group there should be a marker on the map for your faction as grand overlords should be considered as faction leaders.

I had rank 50 waaay over a year and it was very disappointing, I thought at least my char would glow or something.

Grand Overlord passive: Player characters in same alliance are forced to do the /kowtow emote for 30 seconds if within a certain distance of a Grand Overlord. This can only happen in a keep/outpost/resource/town that is not under attack and in PVE-land. 12 hour cooldown. Grand Overlord is also given a banner (like certain bosses) that has the alliance symbol on it.

no no, you are the leader of your faction, no solo pvp for you, either let the randoms follow you or take over for grand warlord zimmeron/sorcalin/dortene and start handing out some quests

There should be more rewards for PvP achievements, but as it stands, PvP achievements are too easy. Grand overlord should be harder to obtain. In DAoC there were people who weren't max rank, even after having played for 7+ years. The incentive was though, you get access to more abilities the higher rank you were. What ZoS should have done was made the AvA skill trees work differently than the regular skill trees, and have the PvP abilities be really strong, but difficult to get. But ZoS has a tough task ahead of them... they're trying to integrate the new MMORPG model with the old, and I don't think the new MMORPG players are too keen on things taking too long, e.g. five minutes to a week.

The nightblade teleportshade, if you have it up after you killed the enemy, will tbag said enemy if you do it. But only if he is dead so the shade isn't attacking.

I figure the 2 shades morph does this aswell

I will probable never reach that rank anyways but I agree they should get some small buff compared to the low ranks just to award all the hard work used to get there. Great general > foot soldier

Oh yes, give Grand Overlords a white unicorn, the afformentioned parrot as a pet which is allowed in Cyrodiil, and a small speed buff, maybe 1% or 2%. Additionally, a gift of a monocle or eye patch and a long and flowing hair piece.

I always thought a horse that cannot run out of stamina (basically you can't be knocked off) is decent compensation for being the number one target for every single player in your campaign.
