Considering the timeframe and multitude of these issues to be fixed, it is apparent they do not know how to fix them.

DLC content and bug fixing do not clash, except for how taking time off from a DLC just to wait for bug fixes would be futile if said bugs just resurface next DLC regardless.

The problems with performance and the engine are more server problems than anything.

If we had a PVP megaserver I would bet five dollars performance would be twice what it is now.

If we had the direct x 9 engine back, I bet five dollars performance would be twice what it is now.

As for the costumes....yeah they need to fire their texture guy after the breton hero costume fiasco.

Arent the recent and upcoming updates focused on bug fixing and scaling up old content ? Personally im very happy with latest patch even though new content was essentially 2 dungeons

I think everyone is completely clueless to how they make money.

It's by subs and crown purchases.

Spending crowns doesn't create profits so honestly if they just do crown sales and those who sub for cosmetic or crafting bags....they're making money.

DLC only plays a part when it's assumed that DLC will release in the future. For all who purchased crowns during any crown sale....it was to have crowns for some future crown purchase. Ppl don't spend a lot outside of crown sales by comparison and ppl do sub regardless of DLC so they're making money to pay ppl. That's prob the issue...they need to stop paying people who are developing problems.

So technically they should stop releasing DLC and fix the game. They came still create crown items from the many motifs, and QoL crown ideas to last 12 months. All of which could be done in 3-6 weeks based on ESO lives over the last two years.

So I agree....stop all DLC and fix the game over 6 months.

You know that adding bug fixes is considered adding stuff to the game. Also the fact thay bug fixes can still cause more bugs to happen. So basically you want them to not add content to the game which does not make them money which also starves players of content. Do not want to deal with another content drought like we had during Tamriel Unlimited phase in. Instead of new content we will just get patches with bug fixes that fixes things but also breaks new things. Guess what people are going to realise that sometimes bugs are going to happen and are going to complain why there no new content. Been there seen this. It is going to happen if they stop making new content since this happen before this game came to consoles. If any respecting player will know that every single huge patch that come with a dlc comes with huge list of bug fixes and changes that has nothing to do with the dlc. So it is not like they are not bug fixing.

They do clash. New DLCs bring new bugs, which means the list of bugs needing to be fixed gets longer.

Also, any high priority bugs from new content will take time away from longstanding bugs which haven't been fixed yet.

I usually have fun reading such threads, currently biggest issue is random loading screens and PVP lags (PVE is somehow ok), developers can not stop making nrw contents as most of player base is now experienced and mostly have done Quests, maxmize skills etc. Experience player eill start leaving game if new contents stop comming..

So to newbie's plz control ur anger and stop deciding what developers should do next..

Bug fixing take some time, they robably have seprate teams for issues fixing and contents marking.

In ESO Live they mentioned that random loading screens, invisible NPC issue will be resolved wih new patch comming to pc tomorrow.

Stoping new contents will not make any difference instead hurt players expecting new contents and affecting developers income to support this game. This game is free 2 play which require s money to operate..

I absolutely love how so many people seem to believe that the game would be better off if ZOS completely halted all work on future content until they "fix the game". Do you all even understand how many bugs are in this game, and how much can go wrong with even the tiniest of fixes? The game would be starved of content for years to come if they stopped making new content until everything people can complain about is fixed.

Not to mention that they'd have to ride off the current DLC's and crown store items they have already for that entire time and what are the people who have nothing to do with bug fixing going to do during that time? Twiddle their thumbs at their desks? You can't assign them to bug fixing of course, they won't know what to do. The most likely case is a lot more layoffs and even less crew to work on the game. And if they eventually by some miracle do manage to fix everything? They'll have to re-hire people to work on content again.

Guess what will happen if they do manage to fix the game after halting all DLC work? More bugs will be introduced when they do add more content in. Bugs aren't something that you can just get rid of and they'll never be a problem again, it's not like calling an exterminator to get rid of an infestation, it's a constant effort to maintain and repair the game, bug fixing will NEVER be complete.

Back when ESO was PC only, ZoS completely halted DLC production for 6 months in order to get the console release ready.

Seems like they may need another 6 months to get this right

I believe more people will quit playing if they make no new content versus not making fixes. I don't see any reason to play because there are fixes if there is nothing to do but the same old PvE and PvP.

You can't play fixes. They don't have content enough to satisfy me.
