Testing a cheat is still using it no? That's their fault for trying whatever it was..the system isn't a person, it doesn't know what they were using it for.

All most people will draw from this type of topic is that two people who they have never heard of are as pure as the driven snow according to someone else they've never heard of and therefore shouldn't have been banned because it's the cheat detection system that is at fault and not the players. All of which gets everyone precisely nowhere. Let the banned players defend themselves with ZOS, that's the only way to do it.

What on earth did "Mr. L. Mage" do that warranted that much of a framing? Did he gank someone too many times in Cyrodiil? People take this game way too seriously....

I remember the incident with Legendary Mage , spoke to him . Knew Hyssia would get in trouble too . It's a great reminder to everyone not to jump the gun and call people out when you simply don't know . It's good to see an apology was made publicly .

That's the entire point. It's especially egregious because they knew full well the set was broken.

The real question is are they upset they got caught or they are upset they made a bad choice, that is the kicker.

It just amazes me that people still think that when they hear something is broken it is ok to 'test' it...

Just stay away from it... Doesn't matter who you are, if there's an exploit, just don't 'test' it, there is no need...

I'm not gonna condemn them, because I don't know them. But, it seems to me that they were doing something that they knew they COULD be banned for. That's on them. They chose to roll the dice and this is what happens.

It really is amusing... This is the reason that I rarely visit these forums and post anything anymore. You gotta have thick skin and be prepared for the worst. The hostility and disrespect of others. Just like talking about politics and religion on social media. People always have something to say about something they have no idea about. The internet tough guys / bullies always have to put in their 2 cents. It happens all the time in any kind of post. We have some real gems in this community. I simply made a post about my feelings on a few people I felt were honest players. I don't know what really happened. You don't know what really happened. I didn't say any names, nor did I say anything about why they got banned, but people were ready to attack and burn anyway. There will always be someone out there who is ready to condemn someone so they can feel better about themselves. What does that get you? Where does that get you? It only brings the community further apart.

Good job, community. Feels really good to be part of this amazing family.

I still love this game, even though there are so many things I dislike about it. I just hope it all works out.

This is kind of scary for me. I don't keep up with what's bugged, so I could put on something like a bugged set and not know it.

I'd get banned too, and have no idea why.

Whoever it is should explain it to Z. When we got caught up in the bot-cleaner scheme long time ago, we just wrote in and explained it. If they are just playing the game regular there's nothing wrong.

However, to cover a bit of what was expressed to the OP, this isn't an appropriate discussion for the forums. As mentioned by other members on this thread, appealing isn't something you can do on behalf of your fellow players. This isn't something other members can fix or even forum moderators and is best discussed with Customer Support by the players in question.

If anyone has experienced a ban is looking for help, you are welcome to post your ticket number on the customer support portion of the forums so that we can make sure. That is the assistance we can offer from the forums. You're welcome to otherwise discuss the system itself, etc.
