Funny Story of the Week: The Rude DK

So I'm going to be starting a thing where as once a week, I tell you all my most memorable moment of the week (that tends to be more funny and ironic than anything). So that you all can see just what type of people and things I'm faced with on a regular basis. But, without anymore wait here it is.

So, I'm doing vICP for my MagTemplar's daily pledge yesterday with 1 of my guild leaders and their 2 buddies. And 1 of them happens to be a MagDK. Now keep in mind, MagDK is my second main besides MagSorc. So I pretty much know the ends-and-outs of a MagDK from a PVE perspective. We finish-up The Overfiend and moving on to the second boss, when they make a rather odd comment. They see that my Templar is a MagTemplar DD (damage dealer), and happen to use dual-wield and restoration staff. Rather than destruction staff and restoration staff. And this guy, this goes on and on about my Templar. He's making this comment, that comment, etc. Now being as I seldom talk, I'm just listening to him. And he's clearly blitzed out of his skull or drunk. 1 of the 2.

And then he makes "the comment"...

He tells me that I should scrap my Templar, all because I'm not using elemental drain. And rags on how bad my build is for not using it, and being extremely obnoxious. Little does he know, I've beaten vMA with a MagTemplar using the same build I'm currently using numerous times, and almost know the MagTemplar as well as a MagSorc or MagDK. But anyway, I'm letting him continue to tag in me constantly when I start noticing something very odd. He keeps spamming Deep Breath or Draw Essence constantly. And using Flame Lash here and there. But mainly spamming those 2 skills. Lmao. He's also dying all over the place. So I'm sitting back like, "Bruh! This guy can't be serious." And this goes on constantly. Lmao. Like nonstop, that's all he's doing is talking heavily about random and bizarre topics, choking and coughing in the mic, and dissing my Templar. All the while spamming that Draw Essence and dying all over the place.

Why would you use a Resto as a DD for groupcontent? That's the healers job^^

Some healers stand in stupid or don't block and if they follow the meta when they do that: one shot... best to have off heals.

Which is exactly why I always have a restoration staff on all of my magicka characters, even if there is a healer (or more) in the group that I'm in. I am 1 of those "better safe, than sorry" people.

Also not one of my characters runs Elemental Drain. My Mage runs Susceptibility instead to keep it endless

@Ch4mpTW Wait, wait, I got one too!

So I've got a stamina sorcerer, right? I'm in the sewers grinding out Fighters Guild, right?
I'm wearing the Vicious Serpent set. I'm using Hurricane. I have a bow. So all of these add up to 70% speed increase. For those who didn't know the speed buff from Vicious Serpent is called Quick Serpent and stacks with Major and Minor Expedition buffs. I do not know whether its intended or not.
This one dude reported me for speed hacking (on Xbox).........................
He sent me a message: "You're a piece of s*** for what you're doing. Reported."
To which I reply: "Wut?..."
To which he replies: "Don't act all innocent. You run way too fast for any class. All the possible buffs don't add up to that much speed. I've done vWGT and vICP countless times, so I know what I'm talking about. Cheater."
I laugh a little and explain him my gear and the skills I'm using to achieve that speed. I also point out that cheating on Xbox is not really possible.
To which he replies: "Don't act all smart you little piece of s***. I know what you're doing. As I said I did vWGT and vICP more times than you could ever imagine, I know everything about this game. I know you're cheating and you just got reported. You won't act all smart when Zenimax bans you from the game." etc. etc. (this was cleared of mistakes and swearing for clarity)
He even invited me to party chat on Xbox, which I accepted, only to get insulted countless times. At that point I was laughing my a** off so hard... But I kept listening.
He went on for quite a while even though I tried my best to explain to him... but he just wouldn't have it. Then the accusations started taking an even stranger direction as he was telling me that I wouldn't rez him when he would get ganked (I admit I told a guildie to come and have some fun ) and that I was a **** and that he'd get all his friends to report me for something else (I forgot what). I tried to explain. I really did.

Well, Elemental Drain is meant to be the healer's debuff to keep the magicka DPS's sustain going. Its not so much for Major Breech which the tank would normally apply anyway

Yeah and that does make sense but what Champ was getting at is that trash talker was basically saying "Elemental Drain or gtfo" as if it was a staple, and I use the other morph and my mage still does awesome. Champ knows of the mage I speak
