Widowmaker Set: Does not trigger with self-made poisons?

So I've got a full set of Widowmaker, which works fine with crappy dropped / bought poisons, but for some reason does not trigger with a poison I made myself. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sidenote: The poison I used (and tested this bug extensively with) was made from Nightshade, Emetic Russula and Fleshfly Larva.

I reported this issue on the PTS. Tho for me for example it worked with self crafted poisons like "60% Magicka cost increase on enemy" on the PTS.

Ah thanks, the one I tested it with was double damage over time and 60% stam cost increase.

Widowmaker is a really enticing set for pvp, but it really loses a lot of its oomph! if it only works with trash poisons

Ye I tried Viper+Widow+Velidreth. But it just didn't seem to proc enough because of this bug so I scrapped the setup RIP

Ye I tried Viper+Widow+Velidreth. But it just didn't seem to proc enough because of this bug so I scrapped the setup RIP

I was thinking of doing Widowmaker + Red Mountain for PvP, since both proc on Snipe for some cheesy burst damage at range *sigh* oh well, maybe it'll be fixed soon

I'm waiting for someone to try 2x Velidreth, 5x Viper's Sting, 5x Coat of the Red Mountain. Just to see how often you get proc on a Stamplar or Flurry user.

Red Mountain won't proc off of anything but weapon abilities / light and heavy attacks, so if you were thinking about using it with Jabs then that won't work, sadly.

Shield do drop, though it's just a small chance.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Just like the group bug and sound issues were supposed to be fixed with this weeks patch that lasted all day?
