Grouping still not fixed

I thought the main focus of yesterdays downtime was to fix grouping?
It looks as if nothing changed at all. Tried to group for a quest share, I was not shown to be in group to party leader. He could not share quest because he wasn't in a group. I could see the group so could the other people. We couldn't see what we typed in group chat but the group leader would see all this mysterious group chat for a group he was considered to not be in...
This has been happening since last Monday's Hist patch.

I invited a player who accepted and system said he joined, but left almost immediately. He could see me in party, but I could not see him. He could not even leave the party. When he logged off, he suddenly showed as being a member of my party and the quest sharing went on just fine from there.
