Hissing on Character Log Out?

I've noticed, whenever I go to flip characters, I hear an odd hiss as the character logs out. I've gotten used to the strange potion bottle sound, but this one is kind of annoying. Is it related to this..."Fixed an issue that was causing some abilities to have a hissing noise when activated." from patch notes? Anyone else having it happen?

    Hmmm, I've always had that ever since I started playing over a year ago. I just thought it was a sound effect of logging out?

    Or is this something completely different?

    Not related I think, that high pitched hiss after activating abilities was awful!

    This could be something different, but I have no way of knowing. I can tell it's a sound effect from something, I just can't identify what, or why it's choosing to play every time I log out of a character. Happens on all characters, 2 accounts.

    I wouldn't call it a 'hissing sound' cause in my case, whenever I log in or out, I hear a strange sound that reminds me a neighing of a horse...

    Maybe, somehow, sounds got kinda broke when they introduced display of mount/pet on the character log-in. I'll have to experiment and see.

    Pretty sure this only happens when you have the Laboratory Use passive unlocked in the Alchemy skill line. I noticed the same sound when putting a skill point into that passive when reassigning skill points.

    That would explain the "drink" sound, and I can deal with it. The odd hiss, however, is new and i don't think that it's from alchemy. Still, I'll experiment later today and see if I can pinpoint it or at least identify it.

    So a hissing sound like when a poison from one of your weapons is applied to an opponent in pvp?

    I'm not sure, as I don't PVP.
