You sold me a dye that I can not use? One of my accounts does not have a member plus account, and I purchased a dye but can not dye my costume??

I am mad at you, why not have these dyes disabled if we are not a plus member?

grrr... I hate feeling this way even though it was only 100 crowns. it doesn't even say anything about having to be a plus member when I purchased the dye.

You guys really don't care about us do you?

    That's not how dye stamps work. They are a consumable in your inventory.

    They do not unlock the dye, even if you are a subscriber.
    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    OK, I'm not mad any more :)

    when I consumed it, it would always change back to the original color. I didn't see the option to apply changes.

    but it really sais when you buy it that it's account bound ..

    but seen your state of a vamp , ypu probably could suck all these crowns back from ZOS , do you ? :smiley:

    You go in your inventory, there will be a consumable there. You double-click it, and it will show how it will look on your current costume. Then you just need to confirm and your costume will be dyed on that color scheme.

    You need ESO+ to use the dye station on costumes, not to use dye stamps.

    Ha that looks pretty similar to how I have colored mine - I use the improved shiny blue (rare) and a yellow tone - basically just like you did it. Well there is a difference - the bead chain on yours is more white than yellow - I have that all in yellow.

    I guess we have even the same race - yours is a Breton, isn't it?

    I had a strange experience with this one though - I was logging out to the character screen and there she appeared like covered in oil - hair shiny and her skin as if she was oiled with much too much oil - I logged in - all normal - logged out again, and the oil was gone.

    These dyed costumes are sometimes a bit buggy still - if you see strange colors, detach it and attach it again, it is most of the time solved then - as a workaround.

    There's a visual bug, where your skin appears almost metallic. Altering any cosmetic setting seems to fix it.

    I like it, but I admit that it does showcase what I would dislike about using the stamps; I would want the "cuffs" to have blue as their primary color, not green.

He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    No she is NB - just using the bow currently.

    this happens to me just with dyed costumes and it is normally fixed by detaching and attaching the costume again.
