Unfortunately with the way zergs have been engraved into the game nothing will prevent zergs, at least this would give MUCH more opportunities for us small scale guys to find good fights.as much as I like the Idea, I don t think this is going to prevent zergs, on the contrary, nobody will feel safe alone
Something that gives systematic rewards of value will be abused in my opinion.
I have campaigned about this before, and think would be an awesome extra incentive for some fun,
There is a bounty board at each alliance gate, giving a list of names from the opposing two factions. A player can create a bounty by providing the toon name in question, and then attaching the reward which can be gold and/or items.
Whenever a bounty is placed on a player, said player receives a notification saying "A bounty has been placed on your head" for lawls.
As many people can take on this bounty for a particular person as a quest, and many can kill said player, but whoever returns the bounty quest first, gets the booty. If multiple bounties are placed on a particular player ( I would imagine there should be a cap ) you can only receive the reward for the bounty you took out.
Other rules to look at, you can only have one bounty per a particular toon at one time etc
The current bounty system is crap haha.
We already have a bounty system, but they should add a daily for the opposing teams emperor if crowned.

This is a passive system, you can choose not to go into cyrodil and hunt bounties. Being hunted.... Well it's cyrodil.Stovahkiin wrote: »Sounds almost exactly like the Fist of Guthix mini-game in Runescape. That turns it into something totally different.I don't think we need ZOS to do anything for this - why don't we implement it ourselves?
You could organize it and take requests on bounties/hits, and notify the player directly they are being hunted. Heck, you could even get guild leaders across other alliances to get involved and add in incentives like gold/gear/whatever.
The Arena is pretty small there and you gets two rounds...
It would be a different system. I'm not sure how that mini game worked but what I'm suggesting is just something to encourage small scale pvp INSIDE cyrodil. Only you know who your target is and when you kill them the new bounty currency allows you to get some epic loot.Stovahkiin wrote: »
I know, I was saying that the basic concept of being randomly assigned someone to be your hunter/hunted is the same, and if I'm not mistaken (been a long time since I played) there was indeed a marker above your target's head in FoG.
I have no idea what rs is I made this up in my head.KisoValley wrote: »Assuming you took this idea from RS?
What would be an exploit? You will never know who your assigned target is. The system will randomly pick one for you. The worst thing that could happen is they can whisper each other and the hunter gets his bounty for nothing. There's ways to go around that but honestly it wouldn't even be a factor.kevlarto_ESO wrote: »to much room for exploiting, like we need anything in this game that could add to more of the exploits this game has.
