I have been advocating for a World Auction House but the Guild Trader experience wasn't too bad. I had a bank full of items and 2 alts holding items since I been playing a month and haven't sold anything. I sold 6 recipes, 4 green ones and 2 blue ones. I listed the greens for 500 each and the blues for 900 each. Still got about 20 on the trader but maybe when I get up tomorrow some more will have sold. I was shocked to see some sales after only about an hour :)

I still have about 50 more recipes in the bank and alts and tons of blue items, herbs, etc. I'm fixing to get RICH! lol well maybe not rich but I'll be ok

Just be glad you have a guild trader to sell to. Unfortunately, a lot of us are not so lucky.

I tried advertising on the forums that I was looking for a guild but that was a waste of time. I went to Elden Root and looked at the Traders there. I saw the name of the guilds on them and I started messaging those guilds to see if I could get an invite. I got invited almost immediately to Aldmeri Nation and I used their trader. I also got up today and had 2 other invites that came later and one of those guilds has a trader as well. The 3rd guild I'm in didn't win their bid this week but he said they usually have a trader about 90% of the time.
Just saying that's what worked for me, I had to do something cause I had so much stuff saved up I was running out of bank and alt room, lol

You have to belong to a guild that possesses a guild trader to sell there though, and preferably one in a popular location. That leaves a lot of players out of the mix. I'm sure if you you happen to belong to one of those guilds then the system works great. If you don't... then not so much.

If I tired to sell greens for 500 gold a piece at my guild store as does the OP I would be waiting for literally an eternity before any of it sold. Blues for 900? I can't even sell my epics for half that.

I finally got an invite to a top-tier trade guild (that has on average 160 players online every evening prime-time). In the three weeks i've been a member we've had the closest to wayshrine traders in mournhold, elden root, and wayrest. I've made almost 2 million gold in those 2 weeks selling only items I obtained while playing in those 3 weeks. Funny part is this trader almost always has the lowest prices on everything so there is usually 15 people standing around the trader.

It makes me sad when I visit a trader off in a place like Windhelm or Morkul, or god forbid one of those lonely solo traders in the middle of nowhere and see the major lack of inventory.

    The system really sucks.
End the tedious inventory management game.
