It's all in the title.

I'm 1/12 on login attempts so far tonight, and the one time it logged in, the game crashed when I travelled to Elden Root.

But gee, I wish SOTH would hurry and come to console! Don't worry about the fact I've legitimately spent more time in loading screens and pre-login than actual gameplay the last month.

I can't even get my character out of Elden Root. Loads up for about 3 seconds and then crashes. Just happened 4 times in a row.

Yeah it took me 15 mins to get into the game tonight. Only to crash once in so I had to do it all over again.

    Not happy Jan...

I just wonder why you people go to Elden Root or Orsinium, when you know in advance, that you will get stuck there?- This is now known for quite a while, these 2 areas have to be avoided, when on console until it will be fixed.

Well I was in Stonefalls on Silver so it wasn't the server population causing the issue.

I wasn't aware of any such things, so I'd say that's reason enough?

Because if you are in AD you have to collect the daily pledges there, and Orsinium is a must to deliver Writs.
If these were elsewhere I would never set foot in either of those places again.

See, and that is my point - you know, you will get stuck there - a clever person is then just letting the writs go and does something else instead to go into this trap intentionally - and then complain about it.

If the one did not know about this, then I just hope he won't do it again, because ZOS is of the opinion, if you do it twice, we don't need to help you anymore.

With Elden Root, in all seriousness, DO NOT port into its wayshrine. I would advise you to port to another wayshrine further down the road, and travel in. Stay on foot the whole way. I know its slow, but it seems to prevent crashing. Try to avoid going into the tree itself if you can, use the paths around the outside.

With Orsinium...well writs are best avoided right now. Sorry, but its the terrible truth of the XB1 platform. ZOS have acknowledged that there is a serious problem with them, and are advising people to give up on doing the writs.

Also, clear out any "stored" pledge quests or Writs you have. This will reduce the chance of you crashing. The less quests you have in your log, the better.

The wayshrine just a bit NE of Elden Root tree is not bad for that - it is just a short ride away - near that hill on which a skyshard can be found, it is just nearby that wayshrine.

So you are saying I shouldn't do Pledges and Writs just because the game is broken? How is that in any way the players fault?
Many have already suggested that they move the writs/pledges locations until/if they fix the bugs and constant crashing.
But until they do, we are forced to go there.

I would also settle for giving my characters max Undaunted level skill line, daily Tempers, Wax, Rosin and Kutas, and one monster helm+shoulder per character daily.
Because that is what many of us are missing out on.

DB totally *** the game. ZOS mentioned in technical support all their engineers are working on it but that was 6 weeks ago... no new news or mentions of being fixed with soth.

What about when the main quest line takes you to Elden Root?
