Let's say ESO is coming up with a new class.
Which class would you want?
I'd probably like to see a summoning like class.
Summon different pets to aid you.
Example.
Support Tree: Summons support pets for heals/buffs/etc. (defence buffs, max hp buffs, max magicka/stamina)
Power Tree: Summons attack pets to attack enemies/debuff them.
Agile Tree: Summons pets that buff you up with run speed, avoid speed, attack speed, hp/magicka/stamina regen speed.
The Sorc summoning thing is pretty poop.
What would you like to see?

I feel like the four classes really cover up all the roles needed for the game. Instead it will be better to add more class specific skill lines. So I'm riding the bandwagon on this one:
    None.

I'm think they will probably add more weapon skill lines, or even 2 more morphs to the class skills before they add another class but if they did add another class I would like to see a necromancer of some sort. Would be awsome to raise the dead in pvp to fight for you as zombies.

Only things I would want to see is perhaps new weapons, and maybe that necromancy addition to the soul magic skill tree people have talked about.

    Essentially; none.
This one has an eloquent and well thought out response to tha... Ooh sweetroll!

More universal magicka range spells. Maybe add wand to magicka class. Hahaha I would like to see magic wands in eso. Just wow

I think as well there is no need for a new class - especially not one with pets - we have this already with sorcerer. What i would like though is a new skill line, which every class can learn - martial arts - unarmed and unarmored - scaling from health+stamina or health+magicka dependent on the move used - and the active skills are martial arts moves - the passives govern the defensive abilities. Something what makes this skill line as viable as it was in Morrowind.

Magicka based moves could be those which have an effect on the mind of the opponent - like applying cowardice, eventually a different form of fear (other than AoT), calm down (not being able to make aggressive moves for a few seconds), shock (immobilize for a short amount of time) and so on. Stamina based moves are straight forward I guess - they exist in the real world.

Defensive abilities based on magicka could be certain resistances - in an avoidance style, not by reduction. Those based on stamina could delay damage effects for certain damage types - they will happen, but a few seconds later.

But all of these scaled from the sum of health+magicka or health+stamina - for a variety of possible builds - specialized or hybrid.

i don't like a new class, but i would love to see some of the missing classes.

missing classes from ES lore -
    Acrobat
    Agent
    Archer
    Assassin
    Barbarian
    Bard
    Battlemage
    Burglar
    Crusader
    Healer
    Knight
    Monk
    Pilgrim
    Ranger
    Rogue
    Scout
    Spellsword
    Thief
    Warrior
    Witchhunter

granted most of them are pretty outdated thanks to how ESO handles character customization, but a few of them i still think would have a place, like the Witchhunter or the Spellsword for example.

You can already play a necromancer. It's a forum exclusive class, though.

Spellsword would probably fit better if we didn't already have two heavy armor classes. Which is why I suggested Battlemage earlier.

None they can't even balance the classes they have but for the sake of this thread I would like too see:
    1. A ground up bottom to top so to say revamp of the current Sorcerer class not a new class but it would play like one so yah.
    2. a Monk class would have buffs for using claws/brass knuckles and martial art abilities such as kicks to knock opponents down and deal damage also adding a new weapon type to the game in the form of claws, brass knuckles and or fist/shin armor depending on style
    3. A bard class that buff players for 30 minutes or longer and for offensive abilities maybe have a whole lot of damage over time and debuff abilities as well.( seeing as theres a bards college in Solitude its not out of the realm of possibilities to have a world skill similar to this)
Xbox One - NA GT: RebornV3x
I also play on PC from time to time but I just wanna be left alone on there so sorry.

2?- I play DK in medium armor, is that a fail - I am still very low level with this one.

    Which class would you want?

I would redesign the class skills and merge some of the class skills into new roles skill lines.
With roles i mean player choices like Assasin/Hunter/Archer/Ranger/Marksman and your decision enable specific set of skills. For example as an assasin you get cloak as Hunter or Ranger see hidden, a bow and a combat wolf pet etc..

On one hand I like the flexibility of weapon choice in ESO but I also would like to specialize.
Bow for example should have been something bound to an archer class or role.
Since it's available for everyone makes it hard to design new classes.

The Warden. It could be an awesome class.
Best healing tree, mighty damaging skills, tanking using totems to mitigate damage and stuff. Not to mention summons and buffs.

I'd just like to see a class that has some ice dmg based abilities.

Even if they made some of the Dawns wrath abilities have ice morphs like they did with the DK on ardent flame that would be cool.

You can't be an ice mage in this game using ice class abilities and to me that sucks

A druid class will always sound appealing to me because this has been my default in other games. That said, my preferred option would be to introduce a number of new, varied skills and permit us to pick and choose from a palette of options to make our own class. Combine it with spell crafting and I would be about as happy as I could be.

If I had a choice in the matter I would shift the class system to something more like Rift and Archeage style, players choose three skill lines = your class kind of thing.

Anyway, I would like to see a Nature based class, I really want one ;-; also the Warden? class.

This is probably unlikely though, I can see more skill trees being added rather then a new class as many have said above I would like too see a focus on:

    Unarmed,
    Unarmoured,
    Acrobatics,
Magic trees that don't rely on irritating sticks.

Generally a expansion on weapons would be fantastic too, spears, quarterstaff, spells without staffs option etc.

I feel like such things will add enough verity into the game and are easier too add.
