...Stamina will take over with stunning results. For the about 2 months I've been trying to complete vMA on a Magika NB Argonian (Console) with now results, I could rarely get the final boss to go up to his crystals. I gave up and converted it over to a tank for some time after that. Then a guildmate asked me about the final boss and I told him what I was doing, prioritizing the Crem Guard over everything else when it spawns. He took my advice, added on some parts of his own, and beat the boss in 25 deaths for his first ever clear on a Stamina Nightblade and got a maelstrom dagger.
About a week after he beat it I decided to mimic what he did and made my nightblade back into a dps but on as a stamina NB. As soon as I got to the boss round, I noticed I was killing things much quicker and in no time had the boss up on crystals. However, you never get something that is difficult on the first go around. About 20 deaths later and 2 near KO's on the boss, I got extremely lucky. I had a Crem Guard, the Bone Colossus, what ever add that spawns it, and the boss sitting at 10% heath when it happened. Just when I thought it was over, the last gold ghost appears behind me and flies into me. I use the synergy, everything gets stunned, and I panic spam my execute into the boss's face. My first ever clear for Vet maelstrom arena that was that I started just after the Thieves guild dlc drops came not from the super easy Magic Nightblade with its constant self heals, BUT from a Stamina NB that I have spent a day and a half on getting used to. The reward for my trouble I was granted a Maelstrom weapon.
A Charged Resto Staff..... why does charged even still exist.... I can still use it because I have multiple character so any weapon I got was something of use. Anyway, I never really thought I would beat vMA on a stamina nightblade so easily compared to a magic nightblade. Thought I'd share this story.
