Resource Regeneration Changes?

I haven't followed the last couple PTS updates too closely, and I play on console so have not yet received the Shadows of The Hist patch. I am reading, however, that the formula for resource regeneration has changed and thus people are losing a fair amount of regen compared to what they had on live before the patch. Can anyone elaborate on this?

    Everyone across the board lost something close to 15% regen.

    So if your character has 850 magicka regen before the patch, it will have something like 720 magicka regen after the patch.

    Before SotH bonuses were multiplicative, so for example +5%, +10% and +20% came out as +38.6%. After SotH bonuses are additive so the final bonus is +35%, a loss of 3.6%.

    So the more you are stacking one bonus the more of a hit you are going to take, and regen seems to be where it is most noticeable.

    I had 2,5k, went down to 2,1k. Feels like I'm down to 1,5k, though. Can't sustain at all anymore, and the vampire-stages doesn't seem to increase it one bit ._.

    Damn, thats pretty brutal. Found this in the patch notes

    Combat & Gameplay
    General
    Fixed an issue where percentage bonuses to the same type of stat (Magicka Recovery, Max Magicka, etc.) would stack multiplicatively rather than additively. This will result in some stats changing slightly (generally going down).


    so I would assume stat pools are taking the same or similar hit

    And I guess weapon damage as well considering 12% from agility passive 8% from flawless another 3% from any FG abilities...damn

    Not everyone lost that much.

    BUT those that were getting more than what was intended due to racial passives stacking improperly with other bonuses did.

    Not that I've noticed, but in a roundabout way yes.

    People are swapping out weapon damage for regen...

    For such a small 'fix' it is quite noticeable. I'm having a lot of problems sustaining resources after this change. I already stopped using Kena pre-patch, but now I'm probably never going to use that set ever again.

    The funny thing is, i was imperial prepatch, didnt have any big issues with my sustain. I went bosmer postpatch and am now suddenly noticing issues with sustain. Gotta be something else here...

    It will as it always does with ESO, turn out that ZOS changed something then broke the sh!t out of it. They always do, they are inept.

    Well, Imperials do get more Max Stamina... so your Max Stamina went down when changing to Bosmer as well as your health, so perhaps you're devoting more to keeping health up or perhaps the max stamina reduction is causing some of the problem?!?

    Funny that, on my newest character, Breton Magicka Nightblade, I expected sustain to be a problem... so I went with Seducer/Magnus crafted sets for the regen... but having no problems with sustain, I went Julianos/Magnus and still haven't had any sustain problems.

    Not really a stealth nerf when they clearly posted the change.... too bad so many people can't find the patch notes/ didn't read them.
